😉 Yes, I now realise tabernacle placement within cathedrals is different. Some interesting reading I came across:- adoremus.org/7-899Tabernacle.html

PS: It’s highly unlikely that I will ever be able to afford to visit St Peter’s at the Vatican (unfortunately).

YOU KNOW YOU’RE A TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC WHEN ----

We have had quite a few Churches closed in our city within the past three years. Some of them are vacant buildings; some have been sold to other faiths, etc; and out of habit for the respect of Jesus once being present in these buildings, I still make the sign of the Cross whenever I drive by (I go past 3 of these building every day twice a day).
 
You make songs out of Michael Davies’ name and annoy your wife by singing them repeatedly in an exaggerated Welsh accent:

                  When you see a church with a crucifix in the vestibule, another near the altar, statues of the Sacred Heart, Blessed Mother, St Joseph, St Peter, St Paul,  St Francis of Assisi, St Anthony of Padua, St Therese of Lisieux, St Teresa of Avila, St Dominic, St Michael the Archangel and St Gabriel, and you don't think that's alot.

When youre watching a movie or TV show and take offense whenever they portray the bad guys as Catholic. I see it happens a LOT lately and it drives me over the edge.
 
  1. When you feel uncomfortable hearing a Protestant hymn being sung at an English Language Mass.
  2. When you say Holy Ghost instead of Holy Spirit.
 
When you dont care about the recession because you were thinking of taking a vow of poverty anyway

When you feel sad that no-one mentioned God in a documentary about a murder victim

When your idea of the perfect holiday is a trip to Vatican City

When someone suggests you join an order

When you cant find your keys because they’ve got tangled up with all the Rosary beads
 
When you make a 45 minute road trip every sunday to assist at the Immemorial.
 
When you are toying with calling your dog ‘anathema’ so you can utter the phrase ‘anathema sit’ in public and get away with it:)
 
…when you’ve got a drawer full of Rosaries and you use every one of them
…you keep fighting with yourself as to which Missal is better: Angelus Press of Baronius? Oh wait, bu then there’s St Andrew’s and the Laymens!
…you know what a 5-fold scapular is
…you can name all of the approved apparitions of Our Blessed Mother
…you know the Nicene Creed in Latin by heart
