đź’° New York Times: Trump paid no income taxes in 10 out of 15 years beginning in 2000

And the criminal prosecution is in what court? Oh none? Sounds like just another NYT lie to me.

If he didn’t pay taxes that would just be one more reason to vote for him.
People like Trump are under continuous audit by the IRS. Too bad the NYT isn’t under “truth audit”.

At least the social programs would benefit us.
If you’re sufficiently well off to qualify for them; like the “cash for clunkers” welfare program for those wealthy enough to buy new cars. If you’re really poor, the Democrats have done nothing for you in decades.

I don’t expect Trump supporters to be deterred by this information.
Oh the shame of it, requiring some kind of evidence of criminal acts of the president before believing the NYT every time they accuse him of it!

Just the same, I’d rather rely on NYT for tax information than Fox News.

Notice the last line – priceless! 🤣

Here’s Trump complaining about people who don’t pay taxes when we have so much government debt.

And, just for giggles, one to go right up there with his “If I run, I’ll release my tax returns” joke.

Maybe Fox speculates on whether Trump has committed tax fraud crimes, but I have never seen it. NYT likes to invent accusations against Trump that would have put him in jail a long time ago if they were true.

Didn’t New York Times come out with almost the exact same story before the 2016 election?

How did they obtain the information?

It is not uncommon for someone who has businesses to have deductions. I rented my house out for many years and was able to claim deductions and some years did not pay taxes and sometimes received refunds if I had overpaid the previous year.

The democrats are desperate because of their weak candidate so they have to give as much negative media towards Trump as possible.

Meanwhile, the liberal media is ignoring the news coming out about the FBI and the dossier.

All the social programs were introduced by democrats.
Which ones were those? The last program that did anything of substance for the poor was the Earned Income credit and that was Reagan’s. Not saying Repubs are any better. But the Dems talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. Obama was president for eight years and had total control of the government for three years, and what did he do for the poorest of all, the disabled poor? Nothing at all. Nothing. What did he even propose for them? Nothing. What did Biden propose? Nothing.

And what about the working poor? Well, Obama and Biden pushed 17 million more people onto an already over-crowded Medicaid. They destroyed “child only” policies a lot of single-parent families used and could afford. Clinton gave China “most favored nation” status, bringing in a flood of products made at starvation wages or by outright slaves while Hillary was on the board of directors of Walmart. Real wages went down during most of the Obama/Biden administration largely due to imported illegal labor and imports. They went up greatly during the Trump administration, and largely because of his favoring American workers over foreign and domestic exploiters of cheap labor.

Obamacare is a sham. It’s a program whereby one segment of the middle class subsidizes another segment and the lower end of the working class gets shoved into poverty programs like Medicaid.

Social programs indeed. The Dem party is like the profligate heir of a fortune earned by others; living off its patrimony.

I wasn’t necessarily talking about Trump. I do my own spreadsheets and taxes, so I depend on reliable sources to set them up. Fox just doesn’t cut it for me. Even the tax website kept changing at least three times on me after the deficit-increasing tax bill was passed in 2017. Just exactly what do those guys do over there besides griping about the ACA?

I’m having trouble understanding what you’re saying. If an IRS website changed and was deemed unreliable for that reason, then that was a fault of whoever sets up the websites and probably those proximately responsible for that person. I don’t know how that relates to Obamacare.
