He is not going to get the nomination.Well, from what I have seen and from discussions I have had hear and in person, Ron Paul is the ONLY…ONLY candidate on the GOP side of the house that has crossover appeal. I’ve yet to talk to an entrenched Democrat that would consider anyone else in the Republican Party. Since Obama is loosing his base and most fiscally conservative independents are shying away from Obama, crossover appeal is important, and Romney and Bachmann cause many of these voters to want to just stay home and not vote at all. The Tea Party groups around the country are just as disgusted with the Country Club Republicans as they are the Democrats. There is even talk of sending Beohner packing and challenging him in the primary. I really don’t think you appreciate just how pissed off people are. Ron Paul is the only candidate who is different from the establishment folks in the 2 major parties. He is the one who predicted the housing crash, problems with Fanny and Freddie, and all the other problems associated with the Federal Reserve and our deficit spending. The rest of them are all talk and no walk.
