What’s the deal with this whole civil liberties subplot? Who do they REALLY want to silence?

I wonder what the VP’s connection to it all is.

Lots of money flying around these days which has to be protected.

Will Morris be rescued? Will he die? (I say yes). Will he be made to arms the nukes? What will they do to coerce him?

What will Karen’s influence be when she gets to CTU?

I saw that coming half way through the hour. It wasn’t right that the dad was being left unguarded.

The real question is why Jack would allow himself to get bluffed out. And did his dad REALLY think that there have worse truth syrums at CTU than Jack himself?

The kid has blonde hair. His dad had darker hair (though balding). The mom is a brunette. Jack is blonde.

The boy is going to grow up to be a really good murderer or rebel against what runs in his bloodline and get made a Catholic bishop who spends his life advocating pacivity.

I was very proud of myself last night…lol. I called the “it’s Morris” when they first showed him working to decipher the photo…then I called the dad later, when he and Jack were talking and he was apologizing to Jack for time lost…(just sounded FAKE) – and then we switched to the last minute of Heroes, I told DH, “it’s the politician guy…that’s her dad”

I was totally ON last night…LOL

And when/where does Ricky (Rick) come into the show? He’s supposed to be on as an agent this year, but I have yet to see him.

But, I must say, it’s getting there. Agreed, the show isn’t as challenging with unexpected twists this year. I’m starting to wonder if this is it, what with all the resolutions of previous season plotlines and Jack’s father/brother involvement. Or, perhaps, they are just having the normal growing pains of a show which has been around awhile.

But, I must say, it’s getting there. Agreed, the show isn’t as challenging with unexpected twists this year. I’m starting to wonder if this is it, what with all the resolutions of previous season plotlines and Jack’s father/brother involvement. Or, perhaps, they are just having the normal growing pains of a show which has been around awhile.

Well I have little to no previous experience having only seen season 1, but I think they’re trying for too many twists. I think it starts to become too unbelievable and distracts from what’s actually going on.

Remember those two guys who took Jack and his father out to the construction site to supposedly execute them? I can just imagine Graem asking them to do that:

Graem: Hey guys, grab a couple of guns and take my Dad and my brother Jack out somewhere. I want Jack to think we’re going to kill both of them so my Dad can have an “in” with him. So don’t actually kill them–let them escape. Got it?

Guy: Let me get this straight. You want me to take a former CTU agent out somewhere and let him think I’m going to kill him, but I should let him escape? You mean I should let him get my gun away from me? What if he kills me? What if he wants to torture information out of me? Sounds like I’ll end up either dead or in a lot of pain and under arrest. What, you think I’m stupid?

Sorry, I just can’t buy it.

I found Monday’s episode troublesome for another reason - Like Morris just magically happens to be a nuclear expert AND a computer nerd for CTU? Please! Why would he be working at CTU on computers if he has a bunch of nuclear expertise?

Actually - -the cast was on Larry King a couple of weeks ago – He’s still Ricky – he went back to Ricky b/c he said he just didn’t feel like a “Rick” – he’s always been Ricky, so he just went back to it. I think he’s supposed to be Jack’s #2 guy – like what’s his name that Jack shot a couple of weeks ago (darn if the guy’s name isn’t totally out of my brain right now; I keep wanting to say Carlos, but that’s Tony’s real name CURTIS!! I figured somebody would want to assassinate the President what with the villinous characters in the White House and all.

Is the whole thing with Jack asking agents to sound off new? Never saw that in previous seasons.

They’re losing a lot of agents this year.

He was brought in toward the end of last season after the nerve gas killed Edgar. You missed the biggest thing he is, Chloe’s ex-husband.
