If you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man, you will surely die. What does “no life in you” mean to you?

Ok… I’ll play along. Jesus promised everlasting life to whosever believes on him.John 6 is all about eternal life.
Explain more.If you do not eat the flesh of men, you will surely die.
Your fathers did eat manna in the desert, and are dead. John 6:46.Explain more.
The Bible lists other types of bread and wine too. How exactly does one eat these types of bread?Explain more.

John 6:46.
Yes
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven; that if any man eat of it, he may not die
I believe the flesh of Jesus is most definitely eternal life. But, it’s definitely not a wafer. So I guess you think that when Jesus said His body was true food and His blood was true drink that He was lying?
I guess you think all the early christians who thought that His body and blood were true food and true drink were liars, too?
How can anyone believe that their soul is in their own body and they cannot see it but when Jesus the Son of God says that the bread and wine are His body and blood they won’t believe Him?!
What’s harder to believe–that we have souls in our own bodies that can’t be seen or that Jesus can offer His body and blood in the bread and wine without them being seen?
If you don’t believe that Jesus is powerful enough to do that then you don’t really believe He is God and if at the same time you do believe in your own soul in your own body without it being seen all you are doing is worshipping your self!
NoSo I guess you think that when Jesus said His body was true food and His blood was true drink that He was lying?

Because that is not what they think it teachesHow can anyone believe that their soul is in their own body and they cannot see it but when Jesus the Son of God says that the bread and wine are His body and blood they won’t believe Him?!
I dont think either one is too hard to believe, But since you asked, I will take option A.What’s harder to believe–that we have souls in our own bodies that can’t be seen or that Jesus can offer His body and blood in the bread and wine without them being seen?
Well then…If you don’t believe that Jesus is powerful enough to do that then you don’t really believe He is God
!and if at the same time you do believe in your own soul in your own body without it being seen all you are doing is worshipping your self!
“No life in me” means the Holy Spirit is not dwelling within my soul. What does “no life in you” mean to you?
OK, believers, What ALL does “believeth in me” include?Ok… I’ll play along. Jesus promised everlasting life to whosever believes on him.
Do any of these verses say anything about eating a wafer?
Jhn 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jhn 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Jhn 6:47
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
I believeth you just made fun of the old english of the KJVOK, believers, What ALL does “believeth in me” include?
Does obedience have anything to do with “believeth-ing”?
You lost me there. That was my next point…
Jhn 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
One of the conditions for the flesh of Jesus is eternal life. The Eucharist cannot promise eternal life. Therefore, it is not the flesh of Jesus and just a wafer.
It means believing on Him… More specifically that Jesus went to the cross to pay our sin debt once and for all, He died, and was resurrected by the power of God. Believe and be baptized with the Holy Ghost which saves.OK, believers, What ALL does “believeth in me” include?

Guilty as charged, but certainly in the hopes that I didn’t offend anybody.I believeth you just made fun of the old english of the KJV
I don’t know… Why don’t you ask God? Those are His Words.Guilty as charged, but certainly in the hopes that I didn’t offend anybody.
I just like to keep it light, so we don’t get mad at each other.
So our obedience has nothing to do with it?It means believing on Him… More specifically that Jesus went to the cross to pay our sin debt once and for all, He died, and was resurrected by the power of God. Believe and be baptized with the Holy Ghost which saves.
“No life in me” means the Holy Spirit is not dwelling within my soul.
Do you think it leaves?
I was infused with the Holy Spirit in Baptism (Jesus gave me Eternal Life - His Eternal Life - to dwell within me). When I am cleansed during the Sacrament of Penance, I gain again Eternal Life - and the Holy Spirit dwells within me.
No, those are the translated interpretation of His Words.I don’t know… Why don’t you ask God? Those are His Words.
