Right…so, if you remove a born child from his/her food source and he/she dies, is that murder then? Viability has nothing to do with the whether the unborn child is human or not. In fact, knowing that the child can’t survive on his/her own, I find the parent’s actions really horrific.
Of course it’s murder. As is refusing food to an elderly person that we are caretaking. The difference, is:

Anyone can feed a born child. That burden is not unique to the mother. The father can feed the child. The grandparents can feed the child. Strangers can feed the child. And it will survive.

Only the pregnant woman can continue the pregnancy pre-viability. You cannot extract the fetus, put it in an artificial womb and have it survive. The entire burden is placed on the pregnant woman. If she chooses not to remain pregnant, not to bear that burden, what difference does it make that a vacuum, or a scalpel, or a syringe, or a blow torch is used? The fetus will die, regardless.

So, essentially you are saying that murder is OK if the life is inconvenient… OOOOKKKK… That’s a very interesting position to hold. And a very dangerous one.

I don’t know. Can we experiment on you and see if there is a difference?

I don’t understand the distinction. Are you saying that the woman is guilty of murder, and the doctor is only following her wishes? The decision “not to remain pregnant” involves killing a human being. So, yes…the human being will die once that decision is made and actions carried out. How is that not murder?

Whenever a pro lifer does this, I want them to get the gas chamber twice. Once for the heartless murder of an unarmed man, and then again for the allowing all the media to paint pro lifers like this.

You sound pretty murderous there.

The murderer! The murderer’s idea that it is OK to kill undesired people is the same mindset which gave us abortion in the first place.
Do we know for a fact the murderer killed because of the doctor’s abortion practices?

Apparently, you aren’t an anti-capital-punishment Catholic. 😛

I think it is safe to say that a person who performs abortions, especially late term abortios, is a little more than “undesirable.”

I don’t think I would call this act heartless.

Dr. Tiller’s widow’s statement said “George dedicated his life to providing women with high-quality health care”.

Does anyone else find this a little odd this happened at a church? Odd on the same level as the plane crashing in a cemetary near the graves of aborted babies?

“Dr. Tiller was a fearless, passionate defender of women’s reproductive health and rights,” said Nancy Northup, president of the Center for Reproductive Rights, based in New York, which had worked on a legal case related to Dr. Tiller. “It’s time that this nation stop demonizing these doctors, and start honoring them.”
that is a sick woman. to call for a murderer to be honored? how does a person that twisted function?

Thousands of babies were unarmed by him, too, but only because the arms were sucked through a vacuum. Is that graphic enough for everyone? Sorry, but let’s get real here. This man was not a martyr.
