That’s where the panel trucks go.

Follow them and watch - they drive up and down, up and down, all the day long, in front of kindergartens and daycares. In the summer time they go to play parks, and they hang out in the parking lot outside of the children’s area at the Stampede.

Follow them and watch where they go - you’ll see that I’m right.
BUT we aren’t discussing them…Not me …not the Bishops. Please read the title here.

Apparently there is a new book out - Eddie Adams: Vietnam. I am sure the names are listed there, or at least the chiefs of the villages who would have allowed him in to photograph what was going on. I’ll do a more thorough search myself later on. 🙂

But again, war reporting is not at all similar to what’s going on here.

Do you recall B. Nathanson’s book,
The Silent Holocaust
?
War is exactly what’s going on.

I’m 65 yrs old and have never seen such a thing in this nation.
Your reference to the Stampede? Canadian again? Means nothing to me.

He’s referring to Canada’s Calgary Stampede - A famous rodeo

Even if you personally have never seen such doesn’t mean that it doesn’t go on.
Your reference to the Stampede
You can’t be serious.

Abortions in Canada somehow mean less than those in the U.S.? If that’s not what you meant, then you phrased your response poorly.

Oh thanks for the unnecessary correction.
Obviously I mean that CANADIAN SPORT STADIUMS are unknown to me.
kimmie says it’s a reference to a rodeo arena.

So a real thank you to kimmie.

Yes - it’s an event that attracts an international audience. Little three, four and five year olds from all over the world (including all over the United States) are having these images pushed in their faces when they go to play on the rides and see the animals.

Yes - and if you follow their March for Life panel trucks that have the graphic images on them, you’ll see that they target places where there will be little children present.

I can empathize with you on this one…😦
But again this is not what the Bishops are referring to.

The March for Life - well.l.l… is a March for Life…The target is Policy Makers.

I don’t think there is any confusion as to what the subject is in the March for Life 🙂

It is not a sniper @ children operation as other Canadian Bishops will tell you

I have NEVER seen a sponsored truck of the March for Life do that!

NEVER

You allude that you’ve followed them …Why oh why didn’t you contact the March for Life with the license number???

One more time: DITTO.
I see it all the time - there is a “Little Teddy Bears” day care not far from my house, and every Monday morning, that panel truck is driving up and down our street, up to the day care, and then hangs around there for a few minutes and then turns around, comes back down to the play park, hangs around there for a while, and then back around again to go back up to the day care, all morning long. And, as I mentioned, I have noticed them hanging around in the children’s area down at the Stampede grounds, for the past three summers in a row.

Don’t associate March for Life to an independent - I will bet you it isn’t sponsored by the March for life.

Would you not report a suspicious truck doing the same …Pervs used to use Ice cream looking trucks - I’m told

I assume they are authorizing this behaviour, are they not?
Why not get it from the “Horses Mouth”? Please call The March for Life Organization and get the clear picture.

Or Priests for Life.

Maybe, it’s a good idea to understand who and what issues we are debating - before debating on them 🤷

Well, the essence of the debate is whether the law of treating the dead with dignity is suspended in the case of abortions. It doesn’t really matter where the images are being displayed, but I do feel that pushing them in the faces of little kids is beyond contemptible, even if they were just models or actors.

It’s hard to tell from Archbishop Smith’s blog post:
We have no issue with the March for Life organizers. Like us they are deeply committed to defend the dignity and sanctity of all human life and express that commitment in many beautiful ways. However, from many discussions over this issue in the last several months, it is clear that the March for Life organizers are unable to pledge that the event will proceed without the graphic displays. It is not that they will not do so; they simply cannot because it is beyond their control.
It seems to me that these people are more like protesters than marchers. We don’t know if these people are Catholic or anything.

From what I’ve heard through the grapevine (I haven’t been able to verify first hand, but it makes sense), Archbishop Smith has disallowed GAP and the like from Archdiocesan functions/events/buildings (and I believe Bishop Henry has done the same thing in Calgary).

Exactly. The law of the land (secular law) doesn’t recognize it as illegal only because it doesn’t recognize an unborn baby as a person (we know that the law is wrong in this case).

This is not an opinion based matter. Human persons have dignity because they are children of God, that is a fact. They do not loose this dignity when they die, that is a fact. That is really all that matters in this case as far as the Bishops are concerned.

AGREED but again this is not what this thread is about. Just a note kids ages from 4 years old are presented with sex education…including Homosexual films / pictures.

Now here is where I differ from you - Sex education is being taught in public schools and much of what is taught starts at a very young age and is slanted toward PPP agendas. I DO believe that those classes should include the Truth… including the whole truth about abortions. Not some watered down desensitized version of the PPP agenda.
