No. That the clergy of Africa and the Amazon are doing it in this issue. What accusation are you talking about? That bishops covered up abuse?

So you read about tribal cultures and now think its ok to accuse strangers of racism when they resist pagan symbols in Catholic churches? You are way out of line.Take my word for it, I was not addressing you personally. I was addressing the thinking/mentality/attitude that has been called out down the ages for it’s actions against tribal cultures.
This is nothing but ignorant race-baiting hateful thinkingThis is nothing but ignorant white Euro/American supremacy thinking
I actually published the same conclusions/analyses here on CAF just shortly before he did. (With the due “denouncing” of some US/Canadian professional media outlets that were twisting facts to create alarm and monger polemic.)There are valid arguments to be made that the statue in question is not a pagan idol. Pedro Gabriel, a Catholic layman from Portugal, published an article on October 10th
I meant what I said: you were using secular judges as an authority on a moral discussion between catholics. I was telling you they are not an authority: this was not a legal debate. You come along and say that these are secular judges who support baby killing.
So what do you mean by that?
Exactly. What is legal and what is moral aren’t same thing. Its legal for me to not hold a door for an old lady with a cane, is it moral? I don’t understand how this distinction is so tough.I meant what I said: you were using secular judges as an authority on a moral discussion between catholics. I was telling you they are not an authority: this was not a legal debate.
Ohh but it is a moral/legal debate, Saint Paul says we should be humble and subject to secular authorities.Sarcelle:![]()

Ok well that’s not true , including in Church, and some examples provided above.Taking what is not yours is theft. The end does not justify the means even in the Church.
I disagree. And “ends don’t justify means” only applies after you’ve proved the means are wrong. Thats the debate here: If taking is always theft. So you beg the question and no, secular judges are irrelevant. They said you could own people not too long ago and these days call baby-murder a medical procedure. I’d no more refer to them than I’d refer to a Muslim Imam’s opinion on the question. What these people did was wrong not only on the secular level but n the spiritual level.

. . . Do you think German Catholics who hid Jews in their basements during the Nazi regime were being bad Catholics? What about when the church TOLD LIES, in the form of fake baptism certificates to save the lives of Jews being smuggled out of europe? Did the ends justify the means then?Ohh but it is a moral/legal debate, Saint Paul says we should be humble and subject to secular authorities.
