That isn’t unique to racism though. By that definition, anyone doing nothing to help anyone being affected by sin is guilty of being bystanders. All I can do is live my life the way I believe it should be lived, in accordance with Catholic teachings, and when I fall short, self-examine, ask for forgiveness, and do better.
