I’m not sure it’s any more troubling then the encyclicals about Christ the King which anyone can read on his own.

I guess you could say they’re trying to protect their brand…

Here in New England we have an issue with Catholics for Life. They are not officially affiliated with any diocese yet they are often quoted in the paper saying inflammatory things. One representative from the group was quoted as saying that a tragic local fire that killed people was God’s punishment for gay marriage. You can see why the local diocese might not want a group using the title “Catholic” when they make such statements. People get confused and think its an official opinion of the Church.

Yeah. To me that denotes an individual and not something official.

i listened to him and seriously something more than that needs to be shown to castigate the man. sorry but i listened to his pod and got the jist of jimmy problems with the particular segment.yes that’s a valid point but not a reason to want his show stopped.

can anyone give post a show where he contradicts catholic teaching i’ll bet the answer is going to be no on this.

I find it troubling that people accuse him of misinterpreting a Cardinal, when he gives direct quotes. Voris agreed with the Cardinal but they won’t address the Cardinal’s words, only attack Voris.

👍 a lot of catholics don’t like the fact he teaches catholic belief’s go figure.

Worse. He lumps them altogether as the entire priesthood of Christ is unfaithful, reprobate, preferring personal egos, and the like. One that I viewed personally, referred to them (all) as “not wanting to share center stage with Jesus,” in the present form of celebrating facing the congregation. :eek: **

Could you provide the quote where he said the entire priesthood (all) of Christ are unfaithful, reprobate? Thanks.
 
I’m sure he doesn’t say all of the priesthood.

But in all fairness, we can’t expect the Ordinary to look kindly upon someone who is criticizing priests and bishops, whether he is right or wrong. They’re not going to put a stamp of approval on that. And furthermore, they would probably be pressured by some of their fellow clergy to take a stand.

So the best thing might indeed be for him or whoever owns the site, if they are Catholic, to change the name.

I’d like to see the evidence of who he is referring to. Instead of blanket accretions and personal attacks on the messenger.

I agree with you here. 👍

It’s just an attack on this man. The liberals don’t like him, because he says the truth and points out the error in the liberal “fluff” belief of the Catholic Church. AKA cafeteria.

I see a huge similarity with what this man is going through to what Mother Angelica went through for EWTN.

I’m just saying that is understandable.

So maybe he should change the name, and then he can talk about whatever he wants.

I agree. But I’d like to see where he criticizes Priests and Bishops. Can you provide an example?

I don’t think that question is for me. I don’t follow him enough for that.

Are you saying he NEVER criticizes clergy in general as in “modernist” bishops?
