Nope. Not dust. This thing is interacting with the baby, and the mother has seen it near the child’s head several times. Usually specks that show up on camera is actually dust, but this is not dust.
Yeah no.

The dust only appears near the baby’s head because that’s the area of greatest contrast. These are well-known occurances with cameras that produce IR light, especally cheaper ones. It’s not spiritual or special.

It’s also weird that after countless times of telling everyone that I know my baby and his behavior best, still, the majority of people here continue to insist that it was his imagination and normal baby development. That’s just saddening.

Because we believe in science as well as God?

wow.

So do I but my faith in God is greater than that of science. If I told you that my baby was giggling laughing and smiling in excitement as if someone were interacting with him, and focused as if looking into the eyes of someone when all there is, is a plain white wall…what’s so hard about believing that it could be an angel and not just “normal baby behavior”? Don’t you know that in scripture it says little children can see the Father? Why don’t you believe he could be seeing an angel as well?? For the hundredth time I know my baby best. There are time he amuses himself but this was not the case.

it doesn’t seem as if you guys believe in both God and science because you are shutting down the possibility of supernatural activity even after I’ve told you it wasn’t just normal baby behavior.

My husband and I have already looked into all other possibilities that’s why I came to this group hoping for spiritual answers but Perhaps i was better off on any other board

There is nothing in scripture that says little children can see the Father.

I don’t believe you becuase there is credible scientific understanding of what occured. Simply put, it’s not a miracle.

Perhaps, except, in your own head.

If it helps you along, gets you motivated in faith, than this natural occurance, I suppose, can be a miracle of sorts.

But it’s purely and wholy rationally explainable.

If someone says that something might have a normal explanation, it doesn’t mean they lack faith. When the Vatican investigates a supposed miracle, the first thing on the agenda is ruling out scientific explanations. You’re just saying “Nope, thought about that, definitely an angel.” You’ve made it clear you’re going to reject any explanation that doesn’t support what you’ve already decided.

Oh boy…So are you saying that my husband needs to see the doctor too? Because he agrees with me

Someone please tell me how you scientifically prove when a baby has or has not seen an angel and I’ll do that…

Our baby sleeps through the night now by the way but thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut

We believe it was his guardian angel…I don’t think I need to see a priest for that

Aside from your child, has there been other noticeable phenomena? Pet behavior that’s odd?

And from that link:

It’s possible that your baby was literally staring at the area where the wall and ceiling meet, glancing at the wall, and realizing - “whoa, that looks different when I shift my eyes”. Kids do that sort of thing as their vision develops and as they’re learning how to focus.

Wrong-o, grasshopper. Oh ye of little faith…
I’m married to a geek who has friends who are geeks. The dust is often trapped between the lenses and micrometers small. I’ve had a gaggle of men bent over a desk, reeking of soldering fumes trying to get these types of cameras back together. Probably releasing some toxic China chemicals into the air…but otherwise harmless. These orbs and the cause is very well known. IR light does some whacked things.

You have a unique understanding of Catholic beliefs.

I wasn’t aware that God let’s people out of heaven to go on earthly visits to loved ones.

And you seem intent on believing that supernatural beings are entertaining your infant son, despite all reasoning.

Dust trapped between lenses or under lenses will not reflect the camera’s light back to the camera. It would not show up on film as an orb. It would look like a smudge or blurry spot. I’m telling you, that thing on video is a spirit orb. It even got excited when the baby cried. Did you see it? It zoomed up in the air, got very bright and then zig-zagged down to the baby. And this was after it slowly touched the baby’s head over and over. It was interacting with it. Look at the video, I’m dead serious.

Annnnnd there’s no chance that it’s a fake video, because everything on the Internet is true…
