So we saw,as witnessed by her thrashing Joe Biden in the primaries…
Obama is only half black. I didn’t like his white half either. Not sure you understood my post. Neither Obama nor Harris are descended from American slaves. They are Black, though
Do they say they are now going to vote for the other guy?I’m already seeing posts from my Dem non-religious friends complaining Kamala was a bad pick.
A lot of African Americans have ancestors who were slave owners. There are African Americans today who are descendants of one of the children that Thomas Jefferson had with his slave Sally Hemmings. So at least one of their ancestors, Thomas Jefferson, was a slave owner.Correction her ancestors were slave owners
Well, I’ll never vote for Trump, because I think he has a serious personality disorder, but with both the Pres and VP possibles (Biden and Harris) firmly in the hands of AIPAC, we will have a much greater chance of going to war with Iran. In addition, we can kiss goodbye all the rest of the progressive agenda, as the government will return to the hands of the rest of the lobbyists also: big pharma, big military, big insurance, etc. etc. It’ll be government by the moneyed, except a slightly different group than Trump.Do they say they are now going to vote for the other guy?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...83d786-db2d-11ea-8051-d5f887d73381_story.htmlI thought he promised to pick a female running mate but didn’t specify her racial background. Gretchen Whitmer and Elizabeth Warren made the short-list, I believe. Having said that, I predicted his running mate would be black after the George Floyd riots erupted.
I agree, unfortunately, most think it is just a GOP thingIt’ll be government by the moneyed, except a slightly different group than Trump.
I’m a native Californian and there are red parts of the state, mostly the less populated rural areas, where Trump is no doubt still popular. But he hasn’t got a chance in the rest of the state. Don’t hold your breath waiting for a shake up in California.I can’t imagine Californians not taking note of all of that, and a whole lot more.
There may be a major shake-up at the polls come November, and it could easily go in Mr. Trump’s favor.
There might be a surprise waiting … (Hope springs eternal!)JanR:![]()

You pick a candidate that helps you.So, the Democrats are going to show the world how NOT racist and sexist they are by picking a Vice-presidential candidate specifically because of her race and gender?
Just asking…
Really, that’s about the truth…Biden’s real running mate is COVID-19. As long as people are still sick and dieing, the economy is in the tank and society, in general, is stressed out–Joe can stay home and his campaign is in pretty good shape to win the presidency for him.
Was this selection made collectively by the Democratic Party? I think it would be necessary for this to be the case for that question to be valid. So, the Democrats are going to show the world how NOT racist and sexist they are by picking a Vice-presidential candidate specifically because of her race and gender?
