It is important to keep in mind that the alleged “explosives” were not actually made to explode. In addition, they were all wrapped in the same way. So, had the perpetrator truly meant for these to explode, a warning would go out regarding mail wrapped similarly. It appears that the perpetrator wanted to get caught, but did not want to cause any damage.
This occurring 2 weeks before the Elections seems highly suspicious. I suspect it is for the purpose of distracting from all the good things that are happening in this country, like pro-life victories, religious liberty victories, and a great economy that has the lowest unemployment rate since 1969.
 
Law enforcement is on this, so if there is a way to catch this person… they will.

It’s kind of scary, for now, we have a bunch of duds; what if this is a warning of more things to come?

By the way, I saw a byline that they think it might be coming out of Florida but who knows… maybe they have a postmark or something.

'MAGAbomber' sent bombs via a major mailing facility in Florida

It's been revealed the 10 pipe bombs were sent through a major USPS mail facility in Opa-locka, Florida. FBI and canine units were deployed to the facility Thursday as the search continues.

Because… I guess, I almost hate saying it, because the bombs went to “critics” of Trump. And that part, near an election is a bit strange as well, that this happens now.

I don’t agree it would be a “MagaBomber” but I saw a Jerusalem Post article on this. (Again, I don’t agree with the phraseology since, they don’t know who sent this).

WASHINGTON/NEW YORK - The investigation into 10 pipe bombs sent to high-profile Democrats and critics of US President Donald Trump is focusing on leads in Florida, a federal law enforcement source said on Thursday while another source said investigators believe the devices’ design came from the internet.

All the suspicious packages were believed to have gone through the US postal system at some point, the source said. Many of the packages had the return address of the Florida office of US Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who formerly chaired the Democratic National Committee, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The instructions for such explosive devices are widely available on websites and in propaganda distributed by militant groups such as Islamic State and al-Qaeda, said the second law enforcement official and a former federal government bomb expert.

I thought I heard they were made out of plastic pvc pipe and not metal pipe. Not sure if that is correct. It sounds like the person did not want anyone to really be harmed. Not making excuses, but the maker was really an amateur or not too bright.
 
Yes, it does seem the intent wasn’t to actually kill anyone, but whether it was some sort of sick practical joke, or something more sinister, for the recipients it has to be pretty terrifying. Motive is something that will have to wait until they actually catch the guy.

It is all the rage, the official facebook group has more than a million members.

New owners post not just every day, but, practically every MINUTE, that they found a recipe on Pintrest or other internet site and they cannot understand WHY it was a flop. The experienced cooks will tell them that not every recipe on the internet is real. Many are simply made up in order to get clicks.

If there are error filled recipes for chicken casserole, I will bet that on the internet there are also bad instructions for making an explosive device. Not outside the realm of possibility.
 
Your explanation, to keep with your cooking example, boils down to incompetence. A competent person would have some basic idea of what he is doing and most definitely test his product before deploying it. Sadly a lot of people are quite incompetent at most things *.

So taking an average person they may well be incompetent at bomb making. This is bolstered by the fact Florida is spelled Florids on the package. But this level of incompetence is so incompetent it actually is suspicious. For instance, how could such an incompetent person successfully get so many mail addresses?

* To be clear I don’t mean I am sad the ‘bomber’ could be incompetent. I mean I am sad becuase so much of general society is.
 
A group of dubious democrats and a dubious Hollywood actor. This person has targeted elite members of the democrat party for sure. Sorry to hear after just turning on the news, that suspicious packages are still being found.
I don’t think this is a dry run, but each package has to be handled as potentially deadly and they can’t let their guard down once thinking it is just another hoax.are
I would think soon they should have a person or persons of interest from forensic evidence and video footage. I am praying for law enforcement to be successful in their investigation and the case is solved soon.
 
You might like the Instant Pot. It is a combination slow cooker, pressure cooker, and other types of pots.

Of course, responding to just that, instead of the point that not every recipe found on the internet is accurate, rather misses the point of what TheLittleLady was making.

I heard one bomb expert say the bombs needed only one wire, yes, some or all of these had more than one wire. That sounds like a pretty significant error in construction.
 
They’ve narrowed it down that these packages were sent from Florida, I hope they have some video, CCTV of whom sent these from that post office.
 
This is early reporting, so take it FWIW but the suspect may have a history of terrorist threats against judges.
