By what authority did five major US States simultaneously stop counting votes?

Does everyone have really short memories or something? This is the same process every general election. Assuming the people posting here were born before 2016 they should know how long it takes votes to get counted.

No, this is how long it take to print out more mail in votes, see who didn’t vote, mark their ballots as a Biden vote.

definite statistical anomalies going on out there. If it was just one, it could be shrugged off, but it’s happening too often to not be taken seriously.

here is a statistical improbability that strongly hints at electoral interference:

WI showing 89% turnout after never having more that 73% turnout in any election going back to the 1990’s at least.

Happy to wait on explanations.

This was a highly contested election with motivated voters on both sides. Turnout was high in many places.
I can believe record turnout. For WI, the record threshold is around 75%. I could believe a few points above that. But 89%? I won’t say that’s impossible, but it does have a preposterous sound to it.

MSNBC, a leftist network if ever there was one, has still NOT called Arizona AFAIK. Perhaps one of the few.

I agree the hatred for Trump by many on the left (and by some on the right) is unusual. But I also recall that Obama was pretty much hated by many on the right as well. True, the left media has persisted in covering Trump in a negative way virtually every day for four years, which is unprecedented, in my view. By the law of averages, he must have done SOMETHING good for the country even if one cannot stand him or his policies. (Same regarding Obama and Biden.)

High turnout doesn’t surprise me because of the massive political effort to get people to vote from home, by mail, in advance. Didn’t some states even send mail-in ballots to households that didn’t request them? (I don’t know where Wisconsin/Michigan fall here.)

It always seemed plausible that the vote would suddenly shoot up because of new participation from people who otherwise wouldn’t bother to leave their houses for it. And it was always expected that the majority of this wouldn’t-vote-unless-by-mail population would vote Biden.

Agreed though that the sudden vertical line dumps of Biden votes, shooting straight up while Trump’s votes do literally nothing, calls for explanation. While it makes sense that otherwise apathetic voters would tilt Democrat, it wouldn’t be a 100%/0% split.

The most charitable two explanations I can think of at the moment are:
  1. A typo or error was made in sending one batch of results to be reported;
  2. For some reason demonstrating a catastrophic failure of human judgement (though unintentional), some official divvied up the post-counted ballots into Trump piles and Biden piles, and only reported a Biden pile at a certain checkpoint (hopefully reporting the Trump pile shortly after).
Again this is me trying to think as charitably as I can.

Not that a political process deserves ‘charity’ the way humans do. And fundamentally I’m disgusted with the way the result-counting and media reporting has unfolded. I actually went into this with peace about whichever candidate will win (God still rules each of our individual lives), but the way the process has actually unfolded… I’ll just end up repeating myself. Disgusts me. People should be fired and their states should adopt the superior systems of those states that don’t have problems every time… but I don’t think that’ll actually happen. I give up. The world can world on.

(Also, I’m just so tired of being asked to twist myself up in knots and strain every muscle in my mind trying to manufacture ‘trust’ in institutions and individuals that refuse to earn it. I don’t think I can, anymore.)

You’d have go back to Lincoln to find the last President who was so poorly treated by the press. It’s been nonstop negative with frequent touches of bat**** crazy ever since Trump became the most prominent Republican candidate way back when.

Obama was hated by many on the right, I’ll give you that. But the right accepted his election and reelection to a far greater extent than the left accepted Trump’s election. Not to mention the fawning adoration of the media for Obama is quite the contrast to their treatment of Trump.

The left is find a way to justify why Trump deserved every negative comment made about him and why Biden deserves nothing but praise.

The left and their double standards is proof it is the only standards they have

Well beyond the law of averages, Mr. Trump has done a LOT of somethings good for our country and her people. And he has done good things abroad, as well, in his foreign policy. The recent peace pact in the Middle East is just one example. Mr. Trump, while not perfect (who is?) has been an outstanding president, and I am hoping we can keep him after all of the legal wrangling is over.

Looking back through our presidential history, one other president served two non-consecutive terms – Grover Cleveland. If Mr. Trump loses immediate re-election, he can then run again for the next presidential election, four years from now.

I would love to see that, providing he’s still the same man by then. He will be four years older. If he can maintain his current level of energy, health and enthusiasm, and retains the same values he has brought to this presidency, maybe we shall benefit from seeing him again in the White House.

This election isn’t over, yet. Being so close in so many areas, it’s going to inevitably require some legal intervention to ensure that everything is fair and done legally.

It ain’t over until it’s over.

.

Nothing is for certain, of course, but I’m fairly sure that if Trump loses in the end, he will not run again. But it would be interesting if he did, perhaps against Biden…or, more likely, Harris, Obama, or even Hillary Clinton for one final grudge match.

If this goes all the way to the Supreme Court, I’m worried about Chief Justice John Roberts. I don’t trust him. Do you?

Not necessarily. I do not doubt law suits will be filed by Trump. That is his M.O. But lawsuits will not effect the numbers. Even what ballots are counted are not a matter for the federal government, unless a state is using different standards for different voters, then it is a 14th Amendment issue.

It is over, the leftist were expecting a blow out. When that didnt happen and Trump was winning, they went for plan b and cooked the books.

I wonder what they expect the Trump supported to do? Just accept it? Knowing full good and well the election was stolen.

Like with the 9/11 conspiracy theories, is there evidence of such a wide-ranging conspiracy?

On Larry Elder, an “expert”, I believe law professor from Chatham University is saying, the fraud may well sink in, it’s hard to reverse a case like this because voters are separated from their votes. You don’t know how they voted. The law professor said the case should be taken by the Supreme Court but likely will not… Trump’s lead in GA. is 3400 currently per the radio.
