Most of it to be sure.how much of the inner city problem is related to the family structure?

There are, but Donald J. Trump is not really doing that. There are things a President can do to kill and make millions and billions
suffer, that doesn’t include abortion
Can we curb the anti-Catholic rhetoric a little before this gets ugly. I am about at my wits end with the attacks on the Church.Democrat to help them forge the alliance that is needed with the Democratic party and the Catholic Church to influence the Vatican to accept woman priests, gay unions, and contraception which is their immediate goal.
Seriously. Do either of you have ANY data that demonstrates a causal relationship, in any direction, between the absenteeism of the black father to the “inner city problem” (whatever THAT vaguely means) or the “welfare state”?upant:![]()

That’s true, and it’s one thing for them to hold heresy, but it’s another to promote it within the Church and outside the Church claiming to be Catholic. You can be Catholic and not agree with Catholic Church positions on issues. You might not be a good Catholic, but you’re still a Catholic.
It is, they believe we are overpopulated, they think we are draining the Earth’s limited resources and coupled with man made climate change we also apparently destroy the planet with the CO2 we breathe. But your right, it’s not just our population that are targets, they push abortion onto 3rd world countries under the guise of humanitarian aid.Their goal is obviously not to “kill off their own population”.
Just because you cannot think of any other reason for these stats, that does not mean your guess is right.Vonsalza:![]()
how much of the inner city problem is related to the family structure? The banner to reduce institutional racism against blacks and to create services to assist them with housing, food and education has overwhelmingly been carried by the democratic party. If by helping a man, we contribute to his continued dereliction, then congratulations. Instead of a win-win, you’ve created a no-win-no-win situation for those who actually wish to be charitable per Christ.
in 1960 22 percent of black children were raised with only one parent. in 2010 the figure was 67 percent.
in 2010 72 percent were born out of wedlock.
what role do you think the welfare state played into this? if any? if not what caused this decline?
why ask for studies when the article you posted said there were studies? So far, literally all you have given in this posts is reasonable evidence of your racial bias, or at least gullibility.
you aren’t telling me obama made it up are you? is he racist? the us census list them as children in single-parent families.there are studies that show that children who grow up in two-parent households perform better in school, are less likely to commit crime and have higher future earning potential.
cnn’s don lemon says more than 72 percent of births are out of wedlock. is he racist? politifact further states these children MAY have contact. not that they do have. may just leaves the door open.Obama’s premise that the absence of fathers is leading to social problems is backed up by research, but we’re not ruling on that part of his statement. We’re ruling on his claim that, “More than half of all black children live in single-parent households, a number that has doubled — doubled — since we were children,” which U.S. Census numbers substantiate. And we rule it to be True.
Lemon said that “more than 72 percent of children in the African-American community are born out of wedlock.” Federal data confirms that 73 percent of African-American births in 2010 were out of wedlock. Estimates for the percentage of African-American children growing up in single-parent households are slightly lower, at 67 percent. Finally, black children counted in these statistics may have contact outside the household with their biological father. But Lemon’s statistic was accurate, and we rate his statement True.
it was a question not a guess. it was based on obama’s opinion.Just because you cannot think of any other reason for these stats, that does not mean your guess is right.

That is not the guess I was referring to. I was referring to the guess about the role of the welfare state in causing this situation.LeafByNiggle:![]()
