There are many things on this sight that caught my attention.
We can’t throw each other out!!! Weeds with the wheat and all
We need to learn to love others like God loves us even though we sin.
I am learning what it is to be a good wife. I just had a thought last night that it is not my job to point out every single sin of my husband, but to pray for him constantly and do everything that I can to prevent him from falling into sin on my account. We want heaven for each other. The same is true for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
I have non-Cathloic friends that are all about contraception and even pre-marrital sex. My life has changed as such I have limited contact with them, however, I have seen the fruits of how my changing life is helping them see that there are alturnatives.
I just went through RCIA a year and a half ago. It is like mothers milk and we need to slowly start eatting solid foods. I am in the process of weening my 9 month old. This is a very interesting analogy. I also think of the children of the Old testament and how hard it was for them to break free from sexual sins. Circumcision!
Sexuallity is the easiest and most destructive path satan takes to get in the way of our Relationship with Christ and our Spouse. If each person took a look at the fruits of contraception in their lives, they may see if it is really bringing them closer to God or not and also their Spouse or not.
I have found that the my relationship with my Husband Parrelles my Relationship with God. What parts of myself I am unwilling to share with one I am unlikely to be willing to share with the other.
I used to think that the more Sex I had the closer I would feel to my partener. The truth is the more authentic Love I make with my spouse the closer I am to not only my spouse but also to God. Marriage is a Sacrement. You wouly not take a drug to prevent the host from from being absorbed into your body would you? That is only part of what could be going on when we receive the body and blood of Christ in a state of Moral Sin.
I understand the fear of children. But they should be less of a commitment then devoting ones life to Christ, if we are trying to be a good and faithful Catholics. The Catholic Church is there to help us not fall into sin, and to help us out if we have already fallen. It is up to us to seek out Christ’s Teachings when we feel that we are not as close to Him as he has put the desire in us to be.
God Blessings to all of You
