It says there is neither jew nor gentile, so the Word was given to us all then.does this passage say that the Word of God, the promises, the Prophets, the Law was not given to the Jews?

yes, that is so, Christ the Bridegroom through His Bride the Church, can’t remember the exact year that came about. Was it in the 4th century?Hello again Carlan, but He and therefore naturally love existed before all those things. So I like to believe Christ gave us the Bible. And St Paul tells us in union with Him we all have our proper place. You, I, our Protestant neighbors and friends. All in union with Him in love. God bless and Peace.
Your brother in Christ
Yes Carlan I like to think, if Wisdom allows me to a 3rd or 4th timeyes, that is so, Christ the Bridegroom through His Bride the Church, can’t remember the exact year that came about. Was it in the 4th century?
BTW, the Church prays without ceasing for the desire of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for the unity of his separated flock. Blessings, peace and the light of Christ upon us all,Carlan
and where does it say that?It says there is neither jew nor gentile, so the Word was given to us all then.
Wisdom, well i thinkand where does it say that?

“Noblemen, townsmen, peasants, all classes understand the Evangelium better than I or St. Paul; they are now wise and think themselves more learned than all the ministers.”
Walch XIV, 1360. quoted in O’Hare, Ibid, 209.
no, it doesnt.Wisdom, well i thinkit says it right there in the verse I gave earlier. If there are neither jew nor gentile then the Word was given to us all. But you can think differently. I still consider us united in Christ.
.we are not. sorry, you are not a Catholic. in fact we believe just the opposite
we can love everybody including our enemies. does that make them one with us?Greetings and peace be with you wisdomseeker;
.
How can I as an individual, and we as a communion, love other Christians as we love ourselves?
Every blessing from a fellow Catholic,
Eric
It is wonderful to know that all can serve God’s love so well together, Jews, Muslims, the various Protestant denominations, and. Catholics helping side by side those who need the love of God shared so desperately.Greetings and peace be with you wisdomseeker
I am a Catholic, and have been a Street Pastor for a couple of years, this involves going out late on a Friday night, and coming into contact with drugs, aggression, drink, gangs and rowdy behaviour. I feel so blessed that I am able to do this with Christians from 8 different churches, we pray for each other, we pray for the people on the streets, we are one in Christ.
I feel so blessed when I witness other denominations bringing people to Christ, we need each other, Catholics cannot do it on their own. I feel so blessed when I witness the One Body with many parts, working together as one, we hope to share the love of Christ out on the streets.
Here are a couple of short videos, to give you a flavour of what can happen, the faith and trust in God that the Longsight Pastors show is awe inspiring.

Hi Wisdom, I’m unsure if putting me down as not a Catholic lifts you up or not but I don’t understand if you follow everything, why then do you disagree with the Church that I am?you are not a Catholic. in fact we believe just the opposite. we are not of one Faith, one mind, and so forth. one cannot in anyway undermine the Teachings of the CC, discarded is unimportant. it is very important.
this tactic does not work with me. anyone who does not believe what the Church teaches is in disobedience to Christ. Jesus said:" whoever hears you, hears me and the One Who sent Me." you are not outside of this commandment. i dont care if you believe or not. you have been told over and over again the Truth, yet you continue to reject the Church.
oh well, what can i do.

Matt, many Catholic here see you as a Catholic dissenter, while that is not going to make you not a Catholic so to speak, it is not a good thing, and in my humble opinion it shows you as one not willing to defend the truth of the faith. This is Catholic Answers after all and a public forum where you are witnessing , possibly,to thousand of readers. Peace to you,CarlanHi Wisdom, I’m unsure if putting me down as not a Catholic lifts you up or not but I don’t understand if you follow everything, why then do you disagree with the Church that I am?![]()

Carlan, yes I know some apparently do but some just see me as Catholic. I am trying to defend my faith in Christ. You must have missed my post though explaining where the Church believes it gets its authority. But every Catholic does not see everything the same or may even wonder at times what Christ would think. So that’s why I simply try to take the bigger picture. I’m not sure Christ made it all that complicated. Believe in Him. Love. That’s why I just say Catholic Christians and all Christians are united in Him. Peace and do have a good night my friend.Matt, many Catholic here see you as a Catholic dissenter, while that is not going to make you not a Catholic so to speak, it is not a good thing, and in my humble opinion it shows you as one not willing to defend the truth of the faith.
