How is not even remotely applicable? That’s pretty lame and not even remotely applicable.
But your joke is noted.
Is it a joke that the government exempted themselves from ObamaTax?

The term Obama"tax" hasn’t really caught on you know. How is not even remotely applicable?

If I were an Obama supporter I wouldn’t want to talk about Obama either. The term Obama"tax" hasn’t really caught on you know.
Did Romney receive the MA healthcare he advanced while living there?
LIke to see a list of heroes.I guess what he defines as “continues to operate.”
There are more than a few CEO’s who have completely gone without their salaries so that their employees can continue working or receiving health care.
THOSE are the heroes. Those are the models for the billionaire CEOs.
These CEO’s are displaying charity as Christ would demmand and they are receiving but temporal and spiritual adulation for it.
Probaly happens often, just gets no press. In fact, it happens in all types of subtle ways in many work places. I do not see this anything new.For the sake of discussion, let’s say that a business owner wrote the same email, but instead of promoting Romney, he insisted that his workers support Obama or their jobs would be in danger. What if it were your boss that wrote such an email? How would you feel then?
Well, the joke may be on the CEO when he won’t be able to write off half of his expenses, if Romney/Ryan have their way. From CNN/Money:
Surprise. David Siegel, the resort CEO who is building the biggest private home in the country, really, really doesn’t like President Obama. And while Siegel hasn’t sent any money to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, he has gone a step farther to support him.
On Monday he sent an e-mail to all 7,000 employees of privately-held Westgate Resorts, many of them in the battleground state of Florida, warning them their jobs are at risk if the president is re-elected.
“The economy doesn’t currently pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is another 4 years of the same Presidential administration,” he said in the e-mail.He lays it out for his employees. He insists that he did not threaten to fire anybody nor did he order anybody to vote a certain way.
“If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company,” he says in the nearly 1,400-word e-mail. “Rather than grow this company I will be forced to cut back. This means fewer jobs, less benefits and certainly less opportunity for everyone.”
Apocalyptic.
Please explain.Well, the joke may be on the CEO when he won’t be able to write off half of his expenses, if Romney/Ryan have their way.
Look the fact is Christ does tell us not to vote Obama through the application of the principles of His Church. Christ would not want anyone to vote for someone who agreed with partial birth abortion, who hates religious liberty, who hates conscience wants to destroy marriage etc…Well then this CEO must be doing something Christ would approve of then, right???
Oh wait…probably not.
Romney said during the debates that he wants to limit the amount of deductions a person (and presumably a business) can take on income taxes. Please explain.
Letting people know the issues that will have be dealt with if there is a second term for Obama is intimidation? Ignorance is not bliss. On the other hand, I’m disappointed that so many of you think there is nothing wrong with this kind of intimidation in a free society.
If someone in authority implies they are going to fire you if Romney isn’t elected, how is that not a threat to vote for Romney?Letting people know the issues that will have be dealt with if there is a second term for Obama is intimidation? Ignorance is not bliss.
I’d say he is better off warning his employees that a continuance of the current business climate under this president will force his hand with layoffs.I’m torn. On the one hand, I’m thrilled that so many of you seem to support free enterprise, to the extent that you acknowledge that a business owner has a right to do… pretty much whatever he wants with his own business without government interference.
On the other hand, I’m disappointed that so many of you think there is nothing wrong with this kind of intimidation in a free society.

To me, its a veiled threat plain and simple. From CNN/Money:

So stating that one party winning will have negative effects on your income is a threat? Look at all the people on Social Security that Obama has threatened. If someone in authority implies they are going to fire you if Romney isn’t elected, how is that not a threat to vote for Romney?
True. It’s no different than saying “Paul Ryan is going to gut Medicare” and more tactful than “he’s gonna put y’all back in chains,” and more tangibly believable than both.So stating that one party winning will have negative effects on your income is a threat? Look at all the people on Social Security that Obama has threatened.![]()
Maybe to you but it already is happening. Companies are laying off full time workers to rehire them as part time. They will not be permitted to work over 30 hours a week to avoid Obamatax. To me, its a veiled threat plain and simple.
Which of you wishing to construct a tower does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if there is enough for its completion?

Otherwise, after laying the foundation and finding himself unable to finish the work the onlookers should laugh at him

and say, ‘This one began to build but did not have the resources to finish.’
That’s not very principled.I despise Obama, but if I got an e-mail like that from my boss, I would consider voting for him out of spite. I really would.
Really? An attitude no more than what we expect from the rich.![]()
