^^ Well I heard people are going to hell, and there’s a final judgment so I assuming they change their mind and want to go to heaven at the end after all.

And the ones say “No I like it here!!!”, stay in there forever after the final judgment. And after final judgment you can never leave ever, and are there for eternity. So it’s one huge demonic party that never ends…

I am not sure how accurate this is, since I can’t remember where I read this from.

I don’t know Jack, i think once your in hell you aint ever gonna get out. In Mathew 23:33, and Mark 9:43 say’s something differnt. Then comes REV. 20:13-14 Love of Christ Nancy:confused:

One you die - your chances end. There is no second chance after the particular judgment (Hebrews 9:27).**

HI Elvisman, Now that your here Thank You for the response, and i need to ask you What do you think about; when you go to hell now or after, Jesus judges the earth?Do you believe at exact death you go to be judged? and if so why are thre judgement’s going on after? In rev. the wicked dead are not judged yet until after Jesus returns. Now i am not ignorant of the scriptures (hard core) but i would like to learn them the way you see it because i was away from the church a long time and i need all the Help i can get Thank You Love of Christ Nancy:)

The Church teached that there are 2 judgments:
1. The Particular Judgement, which occurs immediately after death. We will know our fate at the point of this judgement.

2. The General of Final Judgement, which occurs at the end of the world.

Here are 2 links that explains it in detail:

So the “greater good” would include divorce, broken family and suicide? Because as a direct result of following church teachings as best we could, that was going to be the outcome…until we stepped in and fixed things ourselves when we realized that neither the church nor god himself would do it.
This makes absolutely no sense. How would following Church teachings lead to any of the above? Divorce, broken families, and suicide are all sins committed with free will. Divorce and suicide are arguably the most selfish sins man can commit. One can argue all day that it’s God’s fault that Judas committed suicide, but in the end he only has himself to blame. Since the Church teaches that God is Love - and love would heal all of the above scenarios, perhaps it’s your definition of “love” which is wildly inaccurate, not the Church.
Once again my point is proven…god allows evil for the “greater good”, yet his church teaches that it’s evil to do so…
He allowed His Son to be crucified on a cross. Are you implying that God knows nothing about injustice and suffering?
The end we made was far better than the alternative would have been, had we kept following god/the church, but that was our own intervening.
So you looked into your crystal ball and saw certain destruction UNLESS you left the Church? That doesn’t seem like an authentic motive to me. Sounds like rationalization.
No, god doesn’t answer, he’s not there…people read situations and events and if they correlate with their hopes, then “their prayers were answered” otherwise “God is saying no, or later”
Frankly, it appears he gave you what you really wanted - an opportunity to lay the blame on Him and go on your merry way.
It’s just super-imposing a magical aura of mystery around life to try to soften the blows it deals.
Agnosticism is just removing the magical aura of mystery around life to soften the blows it deals.

**Yes, I’m sure that the Catholic Church was directly responsible for all of the tragedy in your life and none of the blame or responsibility rests on you or anybody else. **
Hogwash.
This is why I said you sounded like a whiner. Whiners don’t take responsibility for there actions. Whiners always blame everybody else.

Once again my point is proven…god allows evil for the “greater good”, yet his church teaches that it’s evil to do so…
The Church teaches that It’s evil for God to allow evil???
Prove that. NOWHERE does the church teach this.

This is what the Church teaches about Evil!
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of rightousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that
comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on
all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. with this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth
words may be given me so that i will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which i am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as i should. In the name above all others Jesus the Messiah! Love of Christ Nancy

PM your thinking is so twisted that it is hard to believe that anyone could ever get to this point. Blaming God for all the ills of the world is like blaming a steel worker for someone shooting a bunch of folks in a mass murder. God gave us free will to make decesions on our own. HUMANS are responsible for their won actions. If they choose to use their free will to hurt or harm someone that is their responsibility not Gods.

Divorce, suicide, and broken families are NOT the result of following Church teachings but are the result of NOT following its teachings. It is because people rebell against God that evil is perpetrated.

You have everything half &# backwards. IF you want to find God, see God or know God then you need to get a massive attitude change. Arrogance, anger and pride will get you nowhere. A little bit of faith, love and respect is a good starting position. All we hear is anger, misplaced blame and outright hatred. You are wallowing in self-pity, and I seriously doubt you will get anyone to agree with you here.

You mis-quote me. I said it’s wrong for us to do evil so that good can be the result. Proof of that?
Romans 3:8
Or can we say-as some people slander us by claiming that we say-“Let’s do evil that good may result”? They deserve to be condemned!

Ummmm . . . sounds like you were talking about God to me.

And if you weren’t - who is claiming that we can do evil to bring about a greater good? That is against Church teaching - she has never taught this.

**Are you claiming that the Church did evil to you and caused all of the strife in your life?? Is that what you’re saying? **
If so - how did this happen?

I had it half backwards…luckily now it’s all better 🙂
Dude, I WANTED to see god…I sought him, I implored him for faith….nothing came, just more doubt and less faith.

Sure I’m angry. I’m angry that I wasted such a long time of my life on this…It’s not self pity, I’m very happy with my life now.
I’m not necessarily want anyone to agree with me, I’m sure I’m not going to cause anyone to abandon his faith, but I find it interesting to engage in these conversations, knowing what I did and do now.

Oh, I see. Sorry, I miss-understood.

Then yes, I was. It’s simple deduction. If the church and the bible teaches something is wrong, but god does it…

I’m claiming that god’s punishment to adam and eve is the cause of the suffering in the world.

Since you’re anonymous here, and for the sake of credibility, why don’t you fill us in on the details? Otherwise, you’re just trolling.

PennitentMan, I’ll say it again:

Agnosticism is just removing the magical aura of mystery around life to soften the blows it deals.

Discuss.

I’m claiming that god’s punishment to adam and eve is the cause of the suffering in the world.
No - Adam and Eve’s sin and disobedience caused all the strife in the world.
Then, they turned their backs on God when they did this - just as you turned your back on him - then blamed Him for all of your suffering.
