It has been thought of. So far the responses directed to me is it can be ignored because I don’t like Trump.

They did state in the press conference that bleach was not even for hands because no studies were done on its effect on skin.

Lysol doesn’t want lawsuits from the families of stupid people. That’s pretty much every disclaimer a large company makes ever.
 
I honestly feel " scary" is a fair word describing how many feel about it. Talking about putting light into people and injecting disinfectent as a potential cure,WE MUST REMEMBER,is coming from the man in charge of protecting America from the biggest pandemic in a century.
Scary is more than fair

Imagine if Hillary Clinton won the election and she had said something that utterly insane in a press conference. All of these people grasping at straws trying to defend the President would be saying the exact opposite of what they are saying.
Any right thinking person would wonder about her fitness to hold office.
 
It means you have no credibility because you have never said anything good about him.

And why is it people are bothered by perceived sycophancy of Trump supporters, but not perceived bias by those who don’t like him?

no, he did not use brand names. “I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute.And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets inside the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”

But lysol is one of the most common disinfectant products in the United States.

I think we all know. Remember they only tested heat and two products, alcohol and bleach and its effect on the virus and that is what the whole of the press conference was about. The medical community at the press conference made it very clear not to bleach even use it on hands.

Who cares about Chris Cuomo’s wife (I wish her well, of course)? We’re talking about the POTUS making a really stupid and even potentially harmful remark.
 
My point is there are clearly a lot of low iq ndividuals out there.Presidents mistake is in not clarifying what he meant for the benefit of those not smart enough to get his gist

I agree. It seemed like he was absolutely serious, the way he was waiting for the doctors to validate him and say they were researching these things.
 
I am not getting into a conversation about who likes and who dislikes who. It is a distraction from the facts. And I know you know this!
When you hear the man in charge of the nation’s safety in the biggest pandemic in our lifetimes that maybe:
Injecting disinfectant
Or putting light inside people
MIGHT CURE COVID-19
There is reason to feel fear. Not just Trump. Any president ever.
If you watch him tell renowned Doctors and Scientists to look into it, you have reason to feel trepidation about safety.
And no bias can change that.
My bias only conjures visions of Rufus T Firefly but it is completely unnecessary to indulge bias or hyperbole. Let’s stick with plain old fear

Again the whole press conference by the medical community was about new nsights in how the virus spread. Two products were tested bleach and alcohol.

The comment about the disinfectant actually came after much talk about heat, direct sunlight and alcohol. The reference to a minute or two was in reference to alcohol which actually can kill pretty quickly So I have no idea why he chose disinfectant. Alcohol can be used as a disinfectant such as in hand sanitizer.
