Claiming something to be true and believing it to be true are entirely different things. Nobody can quote me as claiming it to be true.
I’m willing to let this side but I don’t agree with you even slightly.Claiming something to be true and believing it to be true are entirely different things. Nobody can quote me as claiming it to be true.
I don’t think that was challenged. The poster queries the basis for your choice - be that evidence, or a belief etc.I only care that I have the right to protect my family as I see fit. And I’m exercising that right.

I don’t think the Church would consider such vaccines as not sinful. The Church takes the position that that is not sinful.

@RuthAnne, are you able to share with us what has informed your belief that childhood would be positively affected by declining to vaccinate children?RuthAnne:

This might have made fore sense if I had noted the disease: measles. In 2018, there were 371 confirmed cases in the US. World wide there were an estimated 10,000,000 cases and an estimated 142,300 deaths. Infants and children are the most at risk of fatal complications. Potential complications are pneumonia and encephalitis (swelling of the brain), with life-long complications: permanent brain damage, blindness, or hearing loss.
