I haven’t encountered that enough to have a good opinion or to know how exactly straight people express it
Do you not leave the house? Or watch movies? Or read books? Or have a mother and father who lived together?
but these particular people express their supposed orientation a lot but don’t follow suit for the most part.
How do you know what gay/bi people do in the privacy of their bedrooms?

That’s the only thing that makes sense in a learned species such as human beings. Such experiences that affect the psyche may be different for everyone in conjunction with the particular traits inherent in one’s individual DNA.

OK. So just an opinion. Nothing wrong with that. I thought there may be some new evidence out there that I was unaware of.

Thanks for answering.

Have you ever known a gay person, especially when they are teens/young adults? The rejection, bias, hatred, it is the furthest thing from making one popular.

Well I have a 13 year old daughter. The concept of bisexuality is beyond her. She knows what gay is but the concept of defining her own sexuality in explicit terms is not there. A period does not equal sexual maturity. Admittedly I was a late bloomer but at 12 I was no where near definining myself with a sexual lable. Much less “coming out” to a parent! There is something off here. Yes, I know we hypersexualize our kids these days, but something here sounds scripted or forced…

I’m only talking about those particular people in the narratives and using some logical deductions.

The narratives could be hypothetical for all you know, and yet you’re using them to make generalizations without even knowing how common such narratives actually are.

I’m only talking within those hypotheticals or at least that’s my intent.

How factual are they and how many times have you seen this?

Doubt it. You gave no indication in any of these posts that you were speaking hypothetically.
They wouldn’t make such a big deal about it if wasn’t high on the list.
Some of them aren’t actually attracted in the first place, they just use it for popularity or something.
They want to identify as it and it looks like they want a lot of people to know about it.
I haven’t encountered those things things so I don’t know how much straight people express their orientation, but these particular people express their supposed orientation a lot but don’t follow suit for the most part.

Seen what? Teen girls fetishizing all things LGBT? That was basically my entire high school career. One classmate was skipping down the hallway gleefully one morning and announced that a guy from a band she liked is gay. If anything, you’d think a straight girl would be upset if a musician they like is gay because their chances of being with them became even more nonexistent than they already were. But, no, she was rejoicing that he was gay.

I’m talking about identifying as one of the LGBT for popularity and not really acting on it later in life.
