Do Catholics still support Trump

You are making two erroneous assumptions here, MB. One is that a person can not support Trump as a person, for all the reasons by dixie eagle, but still may choose to vote for him as the lesser of the two evils. The other is that a person who did not vote for Trump “kills babies”. You have been given several examples from members posting here who voted for pro-life candidates instead of Trump.

These kinds of bigoted statements are not conducive to productive dialogue.

Truthfully, I am not sure the man has much of a conscience at all about anything, but he has chosen to take a pro life position, and I support that position.

Sure… for now he has taken that position… but let’s not forgetthat two years ago he was a pro choice democrat. Mr Trump has proven many times over that he will take any position that advances his quest toward personal achievement… lying, cheating, etc…

Let me offer a piece of advice if I may. You will never reach anyone, or even have them pay attention to you with this type of rhetoric. Hate is a serious accusation and does not come from disagreement. Likewise, judging certain actions of the president as evil equate to hate.

I have even seen people who did not vote for Trump accused of killing babies by that decision on this thread. Such diatribe is inexcusable.

Then have at it. And since mommasboy was saying that disagreeing with a priest makes you not Catholic, then you might end up in a discussion with him on why you’re not Catholic because you disagree with the Pope.

I have no problems with Catholic’s. Never did. I only have a few problems with some of their doctrine as I do with the Protestants.
 
You should research why the Pope said not to built walls and build bridges.
 
So, you’re ok with saying the Pope is wrong, but not much of a fan of ignoring a political priest.

You do not have to like what I said, but I tell you, I am burnt out on the word “hate.” I can’t help but think reading these posts that having a president that communicates with such a lack of charity can’t help but have an affect on his fan base.
