"When a legal scholar pointed out to Trump and Pence in a meeting that even if the case were overturned, many states would legalize abortion on their own, Trump ribbed Pence, according to Mayer.

“You see? You’ve wasted all this time and energy on it, and it’s not going to end abortion anyway,” Trump said, according to Mayer."

Trump hasn’t ever been prolife. During the campaign he said that women will end up needing to go to illegal places to get them.

This was the lesser of two evils? Among all the republican candidates?

Just look at the example of George W. Bush who would use the phrase "culture of life " and mean it in regards to abortion.

Does anyone remember crass Ann Coulter saying Trump could perform abortions in the White House if he made good on his immigration rhetoric?

These are republican examples.

Shameful.

You see? You’ve wasted all this time and energy on it, and it’s not going to end abortion anyway,
As i stated, Catholics didn’t vote to end abortion ( we wish it did though)
We voted to stop Hillary from expanding Abortion

The e-mails and her performance as SOS may have ultimately tipped the balance, but she couldn’t connect even a fraction like Bill Clinton could with people.
Yep. Bill had a way about him that seemed to connect with people. Even his speech at the convention was very credible and empathetic. I almost thought he’d been a doting loving husband, yet we know if at least two infidelities. Maybe he is now? I hope so at least.

Bill Clinton and every pres had good speech. So if i were supporting Trump for his mouth all be condemned. Lol
I support Trump because it’s biblical

Remember Bill and Obama were very high on border control and threatened Americans they would be put to jail or fined if hired an immagrant.

That was less than a year ago. How long have you been a believer and a Catholic?

Human beings are not grapes.

If there were a 1 in 250 chance that your son were guilty of a crime, would you banish him?
No, but you would not merely ignore the possibility and go on as if everything is hunky dory. You would, if you were sane, stop normal activities to investigate the possibility, especially if it were a serious crime like terrorism. That seems to be what Trump is attempting to do by a temporary ban.

Besides, these human beings are not residents of this country, so using the word “banish” makes it appear that Americans have some kind of political responsibility for people from other countries with as high a priority as it has for its own people. That is contrary to Catholic teaching.

It would be like giving equal preference and access to your home to everyone on your street or city, such that you would no longer have any special concern to your own children. How is that going to work well regarding the responsibility you have for raising your own children, especially if there is a 1 in 250 chance that your neighbors are terrorist conspirators? Oh, sure let them into your house for the sake of virtue signaling; the possible dire consequences to your own family and children should be ignored while you move forward on your path towards moral perfection because of your “love” for humanity.

Expanded more than it actually is?

I didn’t vote for her. But US abortion laws are already among the most liberal in the world

The partial birth abortion ban for example just banned one type of procedure. Babies can still be aborted through different ways. Tiller for example would inject the baby with poison to stop the heart. The baby would not look very mangled as if he’d undergone a partial birth procedure. He was still dead because of abortion.

So Sally, i didn’t have to get so political back them with Obama, so when Trump came into the picture i said to myself " what do i do"?
So i stated asking God and started listening to priest, and Immaculate heart radio.
They advised us Catholic to support our Pres.

Obama was president in 2014. And 2015. And 2016. Were you a “biblical” supporter of him during any of those periods
Like i said , I never really thought about it or had to actually had to do any research on this matter. I just went with the flow.
Remember the Bible says that we must support our govern officials , except when it affends God

No i haven’t.
You should.
And yes im keeping an eye on the sexual harassment cases. If he did wrong and is impeached i wouldn’t lost sleep over it either.
Good… it’s pretty bad
So your saying its only to pray for the Pres? No my bro that is totally totally Wrong

Truth & Life RSV-CE

1 Peter 2:13

13 Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution,whether it be to the emperor as supreme,
Yes, I pray for our leaders…, but I’m beholden to these…

To feed the hungry;
To give drink to the thirsty;
To clothe the naked;
To harbour the harbourless;
To visit the sick;
To ransom the captive;
To bury the dead.

The versus you keep going back to do not call for us to be willfully ignorant and to follow actions contrary to the way of Christ.

Has anyone asked there Priest on whether or not you should support President Trump?
If not can you ask? Will you ask next time?

That’s pretty a pretty sensational comment… maybe you have a verse to cite in support of willful ignorance?

I put you on my prayer list…
