Do Catholics still support Trump

Of course I stand with President Trump. I practically agree with every single policy he has. Pro God, pro life, pro gun, pro vape, pro Trump: that’s me!

At this point, the economy is better and trending up, which is the main factor, no matter what anyone says. As someone who has taught economics, I know the president really doesn’t have much direct impact on that, but he does have two strong indirect impacts: 1) He can create policies designed to support and not get in the way of a recovery, and 2) He can inspire confidence that shows up in rising stock prices, which affect us all, whether we own stock or not. Trump has done that.
(1) No, no he hasn’t. First, he has enacted incredibly few policies to this point in his presidency, and those that he proposes most economists agree with be, at best, neutral and more likely deleterious to the US economic growth.

(2) Trump has actually repeatedly created so much uncertainty and upheaval that it has had significantly negative results for the stock market. The single day plummets that have been prompted when he decides to announce major foreign policy decisions on Twitter, or just bash a major US company who has the audacity to stand up to him show how little confidence investors have in him, and how concerned they are about his tendency to lash out without thoughts to the consequences.

The economy in trending up, but any half-decent economist will tell you that economic trends are like waves in the ocean - what you see has its origins somewhere a lot farther away.

“Pro God, pro life”

Really? What is it about Trump that is so very “Pro God?” His charitable giving? He certainly isn’t known as one of the great philanthropists of the day. His compassion towards others? As evidenced by policies like shutting out refugees from countries destroyed by civil war? His respect for all people? Unless, of course, you’re Mexican, Muslim, or a woman.

And pro-life?

I think not. He’s pro-life insofar as it will assure him of a certain number of votes.

Maybe, but then you have to get a Republican Congress to agree. Mueller can’t do anything without them. The House actually did vote on an impeachment proposal a couple of weeks ago. Even a majority of Democrats voted against it. He would have to find something really bad and really conclusive. With all the effort that has been put forth, I think that would have happened by now. Mueller’s effort seems to be losing momentum.

If you are Catholic, I sure hope you didn’t support Hillary. 😯😮
Maybe your memory’s failing you, but I’ve said about a hundred times over the last year that I didn’t vote for Clinton.

He is focusing on fixing problems, moving the economy, creating jobs. He wants to help the American people.
Seriously woman. He just tried to get a child molester elected to the Senate. Your adoration of him concerns me greatly.
Do you have absolute proof of that claim? I have no proof he is or was a child molester.
I do not adore or worship our president, but I think he is doing a good job.
Of course, the president would have liked to have a republican win the election.

There’s a mound of evidence, if you can be bothered to look at it. I’ve written about some of it here, so I won’t make myself redundant. I doubt you’ll look, since you seem determined to not care about sexual violence as long as a Republican does it. You certainly didn’t care about proof all the times you accused Slick Willy of sexual assault. I’d do a long, hard examination of conscience if I were you.

Actually, you’re right, he’s not really any better than any other politician when it comes to lying

Opinion | President Trump’s Lies, the Definitive List - The New York Times

However I still find Hillary Clinton to be more scandalous. Even if she was scandal free, I could never support someond that is pro-choice. If Clinton was elected, not only would she not try to limit or rid abortions, but she would try to make the easier to get, and more common. She even supported infanticide. I really don’t like how Trump has spoken, but I abhor Clinton’s political views.
Of course, Hillary never told any lies, did she? Or Bill?

I would think Moore would be arrested if there were proof.

Are you aware of what Lisa Bloom was trying to accomplish?

I would think Moore would be arrested if there were proof.
One might say the same of Clinton, yet that doesn’t stop you from ragging on him.

For the record, I don’t have a problem with ragging on Clinton: the guy’s disgusting. I’m just pointing out your blatant hypocrisy.

Google “Lolita Express.” You’ve accused him of sexual assault multiple times despite the fact that he’s never been convicted, so don’t play that game.

Hillary has been screwing over our country for years.
Trump is the one currently screwing us over, and he’s the sitting president, which makes his actions a helluva lot more relevant than those of an old has-been. Once again, stop deflecting.

I have heard of the Lolita Express. I thought Clinton paid a settlement to Paula Jones.
I am not sure of there were settlements with the other 3.
