I didn’t say that. But equating defended the Catholic faith against the Roman empire to criticizing the Donald is rather grandstanding.
It’s grandstanding to imply that Donald Trump was ordained to his position by God, which is what the poster I was replying to did.

I agree. It’s the positions of authority themselves, not the people who fill them, who are necessarily ordained by God.

We have the right to disagree with the president!! He’s not our king.

The US government is damned massive. Cuts are good.
Not all of them. You have to look at a) where the cuts are being made, and b) where the money’s going. Most of the cuts Trump is making are to the detriment of the poor and working class.

No. Spending must be cut. And growth from cuts will make up for some of it.

Who’s doing that? Standard deduction is being doubled. That’s good for the poor.

The corporate tax cut will be best for small business as well. Big corporations avoid tax anyway.

These deductions have an expiration date. The corporate tax rate cut is permanent.

Giving less to the poor is not the same as stealing from the poor.

Taking less from the rich is not giving more to the rich.

Also, cutting the corporate tax rate is mostly effects small business. As I have said already, big corporations already avoid tax.
