Trump is doing a great job.
Oki, tim, and Luigi are awesome . thumbs up
There good comments and strong points so far.
But whether you support Trump or not can we say a prayer for him as much as we can.
Lets do this i Jesus’s name.
With prayer we could make him better

If I heard someone talking about my wife the way Trump talked about the married woman he came onto - me and that man would be having a physical altercation.
That’s not Christlike, what would Jesus do?

I’m not Jesus.

Even St. Nicholas knocked out the heretic Arius.

If I heard Trump talk about forcing himself on my wife, he’d be lucky if all I did was sock him.

You act like you’ve never heard that before…

@MamasBoy33 he didn’t exactly say something new.
I know the bible says it about following Jesus, but never heard the Catholic word in there. In only human i don’t hear everything.

Good ol’ Saint Nick didn’t turn the other cheek, but that’s not the Christian way brother.

Again, conjecture and speculation are fantasies, let’s talk about something real. Violence is only justifiable in self-defense, and defending your wife’s honor with violence though understandable does not jibe with Church teaching.

Lol.

Sanctimonious condescension.

What a surprise coming from a Trumpian.

Sure, pray that I be granted patience in dealing wirh people I intensely disagree with.

Remember the church teaches that you didn’t have to support the president, the other thing they teach is , you can’t force anyone to not like our President.

@MamasBoy33

I’ve got a hypothetical question.

Let’s say tomorrow Trump came out and said “we are going to start mass deportations of illegal immigrants on Jan 1st”

Later in the day, the Pope and Bishops release a statement saying “if anyone supports mass deportation of undocumented immigrants without prejudice, such a one is anathema.”

What would you do in that situation?

Would you defer to the Church and resist Trumps mass deportations?

Or would you rebel against the Church and still support Trump?

Catholics are not republicans, democrats, liberals or conservatives, we are Catholic and hold no political title.
In that situation i would listen to the pope

And when somebody does wrong it’s important for them to take responsibility and pledge to do better, and that’s what Trump did.

He did apologize after all, just to remember and keep our perspective:

Would you defer to the Church and resist Trumps mass deportations? Are you suggesting the Pope and the bishops would want us to take up arms? What do you mean by “resist?”

Or would you rebel against the Church and still support Trump? Why would I need to rebel against The Church? The Pope and the bishops would have given their opinion on a secular matter, the ability of a country to control its borders and deport people who are there illegally. They have no civil authority in the US.

I would not be called upon to do anything but watch the fireworks on the main stream media.

Which is exactly why America can breath a collective sigh of relief that B Clinton isn’t going to be anywhere near young interns again on our time.

I don’t believe any claims the msm makes about Trump…

They’re so out of touch it’s embarrassing. And apparently they still don’t realize that they helped get him elected with their obvious attempts to manipulate voters.

I generally wouldn’t wade into this, but are you really comfortable with electing a guy who only might be a pedophile? Who had been accused by multiple, unconnected women? Who had been banned from local shopping malls because of his behaviour towards young women? There was no single interview with this man in which he did NOT raise serious doubts about his own credibility in this matter.
Roy Moore is only accused. Doesn’t mean he did it.
