Maybe in some areas, but I can assure you there is not a consensus on gay marriage.
Wait hold on , you and Erika are against Trump. So you 2 agree on that but then you have your differences on other things also?

These are all things where there is a consensus of opinion. There is no consensus of opinion on abortion.

Maybe in some areas, but I can assure you there is not a consensus on gay marriage. There was a “majority” and a court ruling that compulsed those who are not consenting to be obligated.
So you 2 are all over the map, you 2 agree with 1 thing then you guys destroy each other on the other thing.
It sounds like you Anti Trumps are just roaming earth frustrated at everything.
Am i wrong on this?

You see that’s the problem with Catholics that don’t like Trump, its not Trump your mad at you guys are pissed at the whole world.
So of your going to get a righteous Catholic to not support Trump( which we know the Church teaches we have our will) then your going to teach me to be pissed at other issues also.
You see the cycle hear?

Scratching their heads? I don’t think so.

Trump is throwing tweets out there about how the press will help him win reelection because they can’t afford the drop in ratings if he loses.

You know, he just might have a point.

Hey Luigi, your for Trump right?
Is it me or do you see all the Anti Trumps debating themselveson other things?
I mean its not Trump they are mad at i think they are mad at all kinds of things too right?
Im not picking on them or maybe i am but it seems they are all over the map arguing all things

You continue to misconconstrue my position, MamasBoy33. I have stated repeatendly that I am not “against Trump”. Until you are willing to listen to what people are telling you, productive dialogue is going to be very limited.

It is very possible that we may have differences on other things. Unlike yourself, many of us are not black and white thinkers.

I am a staunch Catholic, which means that I have some values that are considered traditionally “democratic” and some that are not considered “republican”. As such, I cannot blindly support any one candidate, but I have to make a choice between the lesser of the two evils.

Yes.

You are wrong for createing a category called “anti-Trump” then trying to squish people into it that don’t belong there. It reveals your prejudice, and your primitive rational abilities.

The MSM definitely helped get Trump elected…

Unintentionally, of course.

You see that’s the problem with Catholics that don’t like Trump, its not Trump your mad at you guys are mad at the whole world.
This is an example of your narrow minded and prejudicial thinking. I don’t need to “like Trump” to vote for him. I don’t have to be “mad” because I find some of his behaviors deplorable. Neither am I “mad at the whole world”. These statements actually say more about YOU than they do anyone else. Projecting your own unresolved psychological issues on to others is a primitive defense mechanism.
So of your going to get a righteous Catholic to not support Trump( which we know the Church teaches we have our will) then your going to teach me to be pissed at other issues also.

A righteous Catholic is obligated to pray for the President, and to support any actions he makes that reflect the Gospel. This has nothing to do with the person or personality that inhabits the office.

As far as teaching you to be angry about other issues, you seem to have that covered. The fact that you project your anger so frequently upon others indicates that you have a large supply.

Yes, I see a cycle. You decide what is right in your own mind, then you accuse others who do not agree with you of being “anti”, non-catholic, angry, etc, etc.

Putting other posters in a category of “anti-Trump” is a prejudicial act. It also indicates that you have a poor understanding of the Teachings of the Church. Trump may support some of those values, but in others, he is grossly wanting (like respecting the dignity of all human beings, even those who are not White. The reason that people seem “all over the map” is because you have an inadequate grasp of what the values of the Church teach, and the fact that no one presidential candidate is likely to embody all of them.

Catholic values are “all over the map”. The Church has published positions on virtually everything that impacts human life.

Should Catholics support Trump. Is it biblical to respect our president. I voted for Trump and i still support him very much so.

Do you Catholics or Christians still support him?
I think those that like President Trump- whether they are Catholic or not- still support him. He’s really not changed or done anything to make folks not support him.

I don’t really know. Nor should I.

The point being, those whose job it is to REPORT the news should do exactly that, INSTEAD OF trying to CREATE the news themselves. How they vote is no ones business. And it ALSO isn’t the business of journalists to try and INFLUENCE voters. That’s actually creepy, because it is manipulative.

Just give us the objective FACTS - keep the dishonest agenda OUT of it - and let us choose for ourselves.

Right. So what are you supposed to say when you hear the President say (among other things) that he won the electoral college by the largest margin since Reagan? Or at least that’s what he was told.

Maybe these guys who tell him stuff need to be more honest.

Hey, guys.

I’ve been traveling home from my inlaws, and missed a days’ worth of posts. Or, maybe not. Seems like the same players talking past each other all day.

I guess you’re replying to me?

Click on the reply arrow to the bottom right of a person’s comment, and it will show that you’re replying to them directly - instead of whomever just guessing that you’re replying to them.

Anyway, I don’t need anyone telling me what I should think of anything Donald Trump says or does. And I don’t need anyone “interpreting” anything else for me, either. We should each be capable of thinking for ourselves. Oh, and that goes for most of those “professors”, too. Their trying to influence students is ALSO disgraceful, and NOT their place.

The one on the news that told the students that voting for Trump was an act of treason…REALLY? What was THAT? TOTALLY not their place!

St Christopher’s prayed for your travels . amen
Just for jokes: did you go to the white house to have dinner with Trump? Lol jk
Im hoping you get a chance to see the video i sent about 2 days ago.

Catholics are Catholics not liberals or conservatives ot any other political names.
