***Yes, Father Corapi knows what he is talking about. This is a man who is ordained and inspired by the Holy Spirit to KNOW what the devil thinks. I would never put myself at his level. He prays 100 hours for each of his talks. Even my priests speaks like Fr Corapi at times…he is an ordained priest and prays before the Blessed Sacrament an hour each day. They hear confessions and hear the tromented souls at time that the devil had a grip on.
And because our priest talks about the devil, our church has been attacked, ore than once, by satanic groups that exist around here. They hate our pastor. For good reason.***
Pat Robertson thinks he has the direct line to what God and the devil think too. Hmmmm…which one is correct? Both seem to believe “they” have the “truth”.
You?? …not on the same level as Fr. Corapi?

Why not? You are just as human and just as open to recieving divine intervention as he is… don’t put a mortal man ahead of yourself… Ordination does not mean better than anyone else. Why waste your time on what the devil thinks? My mom always says “a clown will perform if it has an audience”. I don’t give the devil the time of day. If you read why evil is where it is…it is due to vanity. I don’t play into it. It’s like giving Osama BinLaden press time.
When Fr. Corapi decided to be a priest…he knew confession was part of the deal. I am sure it bothers him greatly that humans are tormented by evil thoughts and deeds. I can understand how it hurts him and yes…to a degree makes him a bit ticked off. This is not new…it is part of who we are. We make bad choices. We have an all knowing, all loving, all forgiving Savior.
**The only thing I said is that the other deminations are a big prayer group because of the lack of the Eucharist. That is all. And I said that they have the partial truth…because we have the fullness of the truth. Read the document and encyclycals…that is exactly what it says.
And yes, Fr Corapi does not tip toe through the tulips when he preaches the Truth. He doe snot confuse at all. His point is well made. So, I guess I would say that he is a fundamentalist…but a fundamentalist that gives us the Eucharist.

**Different paths on the same journey to the same place. We won’t know until we all get there. Catholic for me, is a foundation of rites, beliefs, doctrine that set my feet on the road. The bells, smells and whistles…keep me in focus. To a Baptist…Jesus’ words are catalyst to the road…to a Pentacostal…speaking in tongues may be part of their journey. It is not for me to disagree…unless I want that brought upon myself. But in their hearts and spirit, they believe as you…they are going to be with the Savoir someday. Have I thought their ways are a bit “off”…oh yeah…I have attended a Pentacostal service when I was in high school. (I dated a boy who was Pentacostal…he married a 1st Congrationalist…life goes on). Anyway, at the time I was agast at the throwing themselves around and shouting. As a Catholic, everything was quiet…dark…shhhhh…nobody move. Attending a Pentacostal service was like…ooooh boy…twilight zone.

**Shoshana…it seems Fr. Corapi fits the bill for you. Not everyone is attracted to fire, brimstone and scare tactics. Just don’t box yourself in too far. We all fall short…
I said what I had to say about Fr Gereely…I would take care in his readings.
I read what I want to read. If it disturbs me…I quit reading it.

So did Pat Robertson and alot of fundamentalists.

**He made a great deal of money, blew it up his nose, found Jesus and now makes money again, hopefully this money goes to a greater good. **
My mother had another great saying…"there is nothing worse than a reformed rake (sp)"
