I find your retort incredibly ugly, rude and arrogant. I was pointing out that not everyone’s life is peaches-n-cream. That situation awareness is an important part of staying alive for many. I did not judge such people. I defended them. Not all of us can have our thoughts consumed by “work, friends, family, God, spaghetti, cherry cheesecake, a hot shower, a good book, etc.” as the person I was responding to wrote.I normally don’t reply in threads of this nature, but this is honestly such an ugly statement on your part. To speak about the living situations of the people who live in these places without addressing the underlying reasons for their situations seems incredibly arrogant and uncompassionate.
It’s honestly amazing to me to see how many struggle to sell the ridiculous notion that the lawful ownership of firearms necessarily comes at the price of human lives. It’s honestly amazing to me how many Americans seem to think their right to owning a gun or their right to property supersedes another person’s right to their God given life.
This is where we differ. I value my own life and particularly those of my loved ones more than a criminal’s life who is trying to kill them or I.There isn’t a single thing I own that is worth killing someone else
Red herring. I have seen no such comments on this thread.I don’t think you can truly comprehend how grimy it feels to do it, and the almost gleeful way so many people speak about the prospect of doing so
