Unless you wish to refer to all of them collectively, COVID-19 may be more specific.

I think whatever “normal” life was is dead. Some places have made adjustments that may be continued for the perceivable future even in a post-COVID-19 world. Once people have a way to protect themselves with some fairly high degree of confidence, you may see life become more open.

The ambiguity is irrelevant insofar as people die from all variants. Even the common cold (especially the immune supressed and infants with asthma).

But even if the vaccines are great, they are NOT going to be 100%.

So either these mandates continue indefinitely on the foundation they were invented, or they admit they were wrong and change their principles for whatever reason.

Los Angeles County announced Friday a temporary stay at home order effective Monday that urges residents to avoid being with people not in their household.

“The temporary order will be in place for three weeks through Dec. 20 and will allow essential and emergency workers, and those securing or providing essential and permitted services, to leave their homes,” KTLA reported. . . .
