Jim Talent is now losing. And Amendment 2 has taken a small lead. I have a bad feeling about this,
I’m literally crying right now. I am so upset. If this can happen in Missouri, it can happen in Nebraska. And with a proabort likely winning MY local legislature’s district (and one that supports killing human embryos for research which has never produced a cure!)… I will probably have to suffer through 4 more years of a proabort.

Santorum has compromised his position as a Catholic and a pro-life. So much for giving him too much credit.
 
So I’m watching on Channel 2, Tony Peraica is leading a group of drunk Republicans down Michigan Avenue to “protect the ballots” which are coming in to be counted.

You can’t pay for entertainment like this. Elections are what makes our country great.

Collateral damage. It’s why Demoncrats win. Hopefully, they have only 2 years to enjoy their victory before they’re off on their high horses again while the Republicans reflect on their lost.

In the meantime, the most vulnerable innocent victims will continued to be murdered in the thousandsssss! :crying:
 
Talent concedes, and thanks God for His goodness. McCaskill seemed to forget that whole “thanking God thing” in her victory speech.
 
Ray Wardingley (Spanky the Clown, er “Entertainer” and former Mayoral nominee) lost…again.
 
Now the Stroger people are there brawling with Tony’s group. Someone is standing on a box of ballots.
 
They’re watching the elevators for ballot boxes.

But this is only at the County Clerk’s Office. Who is “protecting the ballots” at City Hall?

You are not alone. And the South Dakota abortion ban lost too. What is Jesus waiting for?
 
What do you mean what does the House do? They propose legoislation like the Freedom of Choice Act which would make all and any minimal limitations on abortions such as the parental notitification or demonstrations at abortion mills null. Also, look for you taxes going to forcably abort Chinese women. Also funding of all Nazi experiments on the littlest Americans, embryo babies. Pelosi can wreak a lot of havoc.

As for Santorum, shame on you for not voting for him. A Catholic homeschooling father.

and what about taxes? We have enough as it is. Our state is run by democrats and the cost of living is way too high as a result. I thought there must be gold buried somwhere on this property, since it cost so much and was so ugly.

And talk about corruption. The Clinton corruption is still ongoing. How could a true Catholic vote for a Clinton?

I’ve decided that I will no longer contribute to the diocese, since our bishops do nothing to tell pro-abort politicians to shape up or ship out.
 
Now the freight elevator got broke (by one of the drunks) and they can’t get the memory packs up to be counted. So the sheriff and representatives of each campaign have to all go and retreive them.

Ironic that the people responsible for this mess all got re-elected by a landslide.

Gee, I haven’t had this much fun since the City Council went till 4 AM in 1987 to elect a new mayor after Harold Washington died. Back when the interim mayor was, gasp, now County Clerk David Orr (whose job it is to count tonight’s ballots)!

yeah right like republicans have been any better on abortion. under the state clause of the constitution they could have if they wanted to declare roe vs. wade null and void, but chose not to since they realize that by keeping abortion legal they stand a chance of suckering people voting them back

and our govt. has been doing nazi-type of human experiments for decades now. since the majority of them are military and classified as “black projects” they can be kept away from the public and congress for decades before they are either released or someone leaks their existence.

and Santorum is more like the father of lies if anything. he can wave that pro-life flag all he wants, it doesn’t help much that the flag itself is covered in blood

and taxes? hah, a decrease of 0.001% in my taxes isnt gonna convince me to re-elect someone. how can we praise a pathetic decrease in taxes when govt. spending has increased under this administration by over 200%? cut govt. spending and taxes each in half and then you might just be starting to go in the right direction.

and people are still complaining about clinton? will they never stop blaming every problem in the world on him?

2040 A.D. : a news report says that a hurricane has done some damage to southern jamaica, several beach resorts have been hit and casualties are about 100. man watching TV says: IT’S ALL CLINTONS FAULT!!! 😃

and if you don’t like the fact that diocese cant speak out more bravely on issues, its because the govt. has blackmailed all religous organizations to not cross a line that would threaten their power, otherwise they will revoke their tax deductible/non taxed status

i hate seeing so many pro-abortionists winning elections. but here in alaska, palin (pro-life) defeated two pro-choice candidates for governor and don young retained his seat in the senate. so there is some good news.

as for santorum, sure he wasn’t perfect, but he was a hell of a lot better than casey.

we catholics have to live with the fact that we live in secular democracy that at best is protestant and at worse is relativistic. a 100% catholic candidate will most likely loose every time. think about it:

the catholic church is pro small business and is inherently anti-corporate. in essence, we oppose obscene wealth and the hedonistic materialism of the masses.

we don’t have a chance. no wonder satan said the world had been given over to him!!

i hate to burst your bubble, but many great catholic thinkers are free-market economists. if you hate capitalism so much you can go live in a place like north korea to see what those conditions are like. were it not for capitalism most of us here would not be alive since it was the free-market which led to the medical technology we have today and the easy comfort of living we have

a good book to read would be “the church and the market” by thomas woods

My main concern in any election, there or here, or anywhere else in the world is ABORTION !
Have the Democrats changed course on this ? which party offers the best protection for unborn children ?

I’m longing for the day when abortion will be outlawed through out the world, it is a real curse, bring disaster upon us.

I know some people put abortion way down their voting scale, but for me it’s at the top.

Tony’s going home (or at least back to the Intercontinental), the votes are still being counted, and now we know where one time candidate Clem Balanoff is once again.

From the land where Democracy is sport, the Great State of Illinois! We do elections, well um, like nobody else. They sure are fun!
 
Think the Republicans will learn a lesson? I doubt it, either. Didn’t Santorum go all out campaigning for his pro-abort Senate colleague several years ago when he was challenged in the primary by a pro-lifer? The chickens came home to roost.

I don’t really care if a person has an “R” behind their name. If they favor murdering little babies, they’re not getting my vote. So the Repubs best not put a pro-abort on the presidential ticket in two years or I’ll stay home.
