I remain rather fascinated by Christian Rabbi Jonathan Cahn and the sound of his shofar. I think it would be wonderful if the Jews suddenly turned to the Messiah en masse. What a powerful sign that would be. Salvation is from the Jews.

It is said he will emerge from war as a great military mind and excellent leader with many victories.
 
True! Only pointing that 'reveal of the Messiah" for Jews would most likely mean the arrival of Antichrist. They seek an earthly leader, not the ‘King whose Kingdom is not from this World’.
 
Personally, I think the timetable will be something like this:
  1. The War of Psalm 83 will break out either early this fall or early in spring of next year. It will be in direct response to the number of Arab/Muslim countries becoming friendly with Israel. It will be instigated by Tehran, using its proxies in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and Jordan. The goal will to destroy Israel (really? again?) and thus cement Iran’s leadership in the Islamic world and taking leadership away from Saudi Arabia.
  2. The war will be over in about 3 weeks. (Israel is a small country. America may provide arms to Israel, but it will otherwise be alone. It can’t afford the loss of population a longer war would incur.) At the end of the war, Israel will control southern Lebanon, conquered Gaza, taken control of the Golan Heights (to keep the Syrians from shelling northern Israel), taken control of the southern two-thirds of Jordan (historical Moab), and turned the remainder of Jordan into an Israeli protectorate.
  3. Since the current situation on Temple Mount (aka Haram esh-Sharif) depends on support from the Jordanian government (which is why Jews are forbidden from praying there), the fall of Jordan will mean Israel will be able to take control of the Mount, allowing the Temple to be built. (There are already plans complete with architectural blueprints for its building, and construction could start within a week of Israeli victory.)
After that, things become a little murky. While the Temple may be built in less than a year (like I said: these plans are ready, complete with supplies), the sacrifices CANNOT proceed unless and until a Red Heifer is born – a heifer with NO white hairs on it. There have been candidates discovered several times over the past 10 or 12 years, but all have been found to be imperfect. Without a red heifer, the ashes cannot be made that are used to purify the water used by the priests to remove ritual impurity, and unless the kohens are ritually purified, the kohens cannot sacrifice animals to the Most High. Personally, it’s my hope that with the conversion of Jews to Christianity, the Temple will be converted to a cathedral. We shall see.
 
Apart from the obvious fact that the Sacrifice of Jesus completed and replaced the Old Testament sacrifices , isn’t it a fact that when the High Priest tore his garments during the Trial of Jesus that he effectively ended the Levitical Priesthood ? This symbolic ending of the Levitical Priesthood was ratified by God rending the Veil of the Temple .
 
Not really. “Rending of garments” at the time was a sign of great anger or grief. Jesus had just uttered the most heinous blasphemy possible under Jewish law: He claimed equality with G_D. (Keep in mind that the question asked by the High Priest was itself illegal. Because the crime was so great and the consequences were so severe, you could not directly ask that question of a suspect. That’s why they spent so much time trying to get circumstantial evidence (“witness” statements, and the like) to build a case against Jesus without having to ask that question directly.

The rending of the veil is better understood as G_D’s rage and grief at the death of His Son. It also marks the end of G_D being hidden and kept separate from His people, and that G_D was no longer the national God of the Jews but THE God of all peoples.
 
IIRC, when I read the relevant part of the V2 document, I noticed they were very careful not to actually NAME “Allah”. Very sneaky.
 
Agreed. Especially since there is nothing in common when the attributes of both are listed side by side.

Hmm, this could be the sneak peek of this future church. It could also be the “protestantisation”/liberalization of the Catholic Church in Germany.

If I were to speculate (just as I would imagine how the things might go): there would be protests similar to those happening in USA now, but against the Church, perhaps after some key event. Protests will happen in many places on earth and perhaps even in Rome, violent crowds will threaten the Vatican and the Church will remove itself and will go into hiding. Thus, It will begin to resemble the early Church from the first centuries, from the time of Roman Empire — persecuted but also of incredible faith. At the same time rebellious masses will, in the way that is characteristic of our modern times, boldly assume a new religion, “our religion, for all”. This might happen with the help of the False Prophet, a someone who will lead them.

This might be a reealy too far going vision and in fact, I’m almost 100% certain that it is utterly wrong 😉

Considering whats been done there to the Ugarit Muslims and China’s track record of persecution of Christians, I imagine that the first loyalty demanded will be to the state and the current leader . They are so secretive we don’t get reports . They also have a social credit rating system which may be emulated by other countries to restrict their own populations.
They probably have a system of encouraging people to report their neighbours or family members for any infringements of the law.
Whats taking place in the Church will be similar to whats taking place in the country at large . - brutal Communist subjugation .
