Evidence against Hydroxychloroquine

Thank you.

Wish you applied this level of scrutiny to your own side when it was called for.

I want to walk back a little of what I said about the outfit promoting the MATH+ protocol. It is not a completely fraudulent website. The man behind it all is a real doctor, HOWARD KORNFELD, M.D. The office on Madrona Street is his actual practice where he specializes in alternative opioid addiction recovery. That’s his “Recovery Without Walls” practice. In fact he became famous for a time a few years ago when he was called upon by an aid of Prince, just two weeks before Prince’s death due to fentenyal. Apparently Dr. Kornfeld got involved too late to help Prince. But the family of Prince tried briefly to sue him for not getting him into treatment right away. The lawsuit was dismissed when it became known that Prince had not yet become Dr. Kornfeld’s patient. So Dr. Kornfeld is real, and Recovery Without Walls is real, if somewhat non-standard. The rest of my critique still stands.

Unproven that it makes any difference at all.
That’s a bogus statement.

Plenty of evidence that HCQ and Zinc delivers results, when given early.
There is some evidence that it may deliver results. But my statement that it is unproven whether it makes any difference at all still holds. It is not bogus.

speak the truth - It doesn’t prove it to your standards,

but there is evidence it delivers results when given early and in combination with zinc. I’ve not seen one study that included zinc and didn’t show benefit.

It doesn’t prove it. Period.

There is evidence it may deliver results. I’m hoping it does.

A study is not the same thing as a test. A study can be a retrospective of things that have already happened in an uncontrolled fashion. That makes it very difficult to control for things that might affect outcome, such as decisions made by doctors on who to treat and when.

Does anyone think Trump lied about taking the drug?
He takes no substances or booze. He would risk others to create a dangerous fiction, but not himself

You have a very different notion of uncharitable. Perhaps you don’t understand what you typed. Let me try to believe that.

To suggest people take something that can be harmful is however you want to characterize it.
That’s what Trump is really doing and what you suggest. It would open the economy?
" Everyone" should take it because Trump does?
Frankly the word charitable never entered my mind reading those words

Why wouldn’t people take it?
That is why we take drugs. Why not!
Why not some magic light for desert? Vanilla Light, Pistachio light, with confidence syrup.

It is interesting that they say “controversial malaria drug.” Thousands of people take this drug every day. Long term.

I’ve taken it for 8 years. And the entire time, I’ve been overweight. At one time, morbidly obese.

I was told that they only reason that they would ever take me off of the drug would be if my eyes started to react to it.

Somehow, people are reacting as though this drug is terribly addictive or 1/2 the people that take it die.

I am 50-50 believing Trump is taking it.
He does not take substances and personally, I think he would not subject himself to harm( he is vulnerable to side effects)

I don’t. As it came out written and explained in the news, it sounded he was. The article didn’t make any judgement, just reporting. But he gave specifics about doctor and White House.

It sounded strange to me if there wasn’t a reason but somebody is certainly controlling / monitoring what he takes. He is the President. He may be taking a small dose perhaps.
I am guessing, as you asked.
