Do you believe Ben Carson would agree with you on all these points, including those on evolution and sexuality?
I don’t consider Ben Carson my clone, nor I , his.

This is the talking points that are posted against him though.

When I speak of the left,I meant the left powers that be and all that that encompasses. How embarrassing for them to be upstaged by another black man, when Onama was the Messiah:eek:
As far as Obama being qualified,I beg to differ,if the past eight years have shown us anything it is that he is way over his head.So we will have to agree to disagree on this issue.
So you want to make this thread about Obama.

Well, here’s the latest list of his accomplishments

Ayers and Obama are not friends nor associates. Ayers ran a fund raiser many years ago and Obama showed up at it. That’s pretty much the extent of their relationship.

Obama’s birth certificate was authenticated by the state of Hawaii.

Wright’s videos were in fact edited and when he was interviewed, the cut out portions made his statements take on a completely different meaning.

The left is not afraid of Carson winning the GOP nomination. He’ll be torn apart by Hillary campaign staff and especially in a debate, if she wins the democrat nomination.

Trump probably has a better shot at beating Hillary, being he’s a knife fighter and not afraid of insulting her.

Jim

This is his own fault. He said he was offered a scholarship to West Point and he turned it down. It turns out someone offered to help him seek an appointment. There’s a big difference in this recollection. He was never so close that he could turn down West Point./QUOTE

Quit beating a dead horse, the allegations have been proven to be false.Enough already!

Those who believe that because a person is at the top of their field will be good all other fields is sadly mistaken. I see this in my field of programming. If one knows this language, surely they can do this other language. Not true.

The ironic example I have used for years is, if you have a head injury and you go to the emergency room, aren’t all doctors the same? Do you want a neurologist or urologist working on you? Both are doctors. Personally, I want Dr. Carson in that situation. But I don’t think those capabilities transfer to being President, no more than I would want a politician doing brain surgery on me or mine.

No one here coming to Dr.Carson’s defense has said that they necessarily support him for president, unless of corse he gets the nomination, then yes.Personally, the reason I am defending him is because he is being targeted by the left with specious accusations about his past. The double standard applied re dem and republican candidates is so obvious and just not equitable. The must be threatened by him that they have to stoop to such petty levels to try and diminish him,all the while giving Hillary Clinton, who has a track record a mile long filled with deceit, corruption.I guess all that means is virtue and good character are meaningless to the Dems in their own candidates, this only matters if you are a Republician:cool:

Only because Republicans hold themselves to a higher standard. For that they should be proud instead of complaining when others hold them to the standard they hold for themselves.

Btw, that has nothing to do with qualifications switching fields.

What the press stated and what Carson wrote or said are clear from what the press stated and what Carson wrote and said.

There is no need to rehash this.

Anyone with a willingness to see the truth of the matter can go to all the sources to sort things out.

That is the real issue – Are individuals willing to let the truth speak for itself?
exactly!

there have been two high profile democrats who ran for president. you didn’t approve of them? if a community organizer, a peanut farmer and an actor can be president-why not a doctor?

I happen to agree with you and think that Dr. Ben Carson is a better brain surgeon than he would be at being President of the United States. But that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread. It shouldn’t be assumed that those of us who are standing up for Ben Carson against the unjust attacks from the media and others are supporting Ben Carson for President. I don’t support the unjust treatment of anyone, including O’Bama.

Well, obviously politics is more like the performance art or pretense of organizing peanuts into communities than it is anything like doing brain surgery.

Well… as far as collectivists and socialists are concerned.

On the other hand, there is probably some fear that a little tinkering with their brains might get collectivists and socialists thinking straight.

Hence, the fear and dismay towards brain surgeons in contrast to actors, peanut farmers or community organizers.

Yes, it is all starting to make sense now. 😃

In response to the inquiry of people who want to know what makes Ben Carson think that he could be a good President of the U.S. without having any experience in politics. His response was something like this- he said that he would rely on expertise of his advisors who are experts in those areas of concern. Ben Carson, while a good man, is not my favorite candidate. But if it came down to it and Ben Carson was the best that the GOP had to offer us in a candidate, I would rather trust him than someone who has no respect for life. Regardless of whether or not I agree with everything Ben Carson believes, I believe that he is a good and just human being and that his actions will reflect his goodness.

I also heard he rented a VHS tape from Blockbuster in 1983 and returned it without rewinding it.

Film at 11:00.
