Imagine if the FBI had spent as much time and effort scrutinizing Nikolas Cruz and Omar Mateen as they have on a 10 year old, consensual, one night stand between two private citizens.
i don’t think you understand the US legal system at all.How anybody can say this was anything but the opportunity to go fishing though documents to find something to nail Trump with is beyond me.
And since Cohen acted on Trump’s behalf without Trump’s Knowledge? That could be a reason for his future disbarment.Since Trump has denied knowing about it, Cohen is the one potentially guilty of the crimes, not Trump.
Call it tinfoil hat if you want, but if you had ever watched how federal prosecution works, you wouldn’t be so flippant about it.When you make your tin foil hats, do you put the shinny side out, or dull side out? I assume shinny side out, but thought I’d ask.
They probably imagine that they will always be Stalin and never Bukharin. But since the left believes it will never lose power again once it regains it, Dems don’t see the potential hazard in what they’re doing. Nor do they seem to realize that sometimes purges are internal.
The article says: “The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search.” So sallybutler was right. The article specifically references interest in the payment to Stormy Daniels, which at worst, is a minor campaign finance violation. They better have a lot more than that or this will blow up in the FBI’s face.
I guess we’ll find out when they start releasing indictments, and they better start doing that quickly. The article says: “The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search.” So sallybutler was right.
If it has to do with Trump, yes. Any establishment type , no.You really think, they would waste all the time and resources on a “Minor Campaign Finance Violation”?
This could also mean they have nothing on Trump, so they needed another source of information. What better a place than his lawyer’s files? The article says: “The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search.” So sallybutler was right.
I said Trump (and all of us) should be Christ like…never in my wildest dreams would I conclude that Trump’s hardships are to atone for our indiscretions. Surely, that’s not what you are saying are you?You mean he (Trump) should be more like Jesus and let the left crucify him for the sins of everyone???
Yep. This is very dangerous to the stability of our government. How anybody can say this was anything but the opportunity to go fishing though documents to find something to nail Trump with is beyond me.
They probably did just not in trying to stop them.Imagine if the FBI had spent as much time and effort scrutinizing Nikolas Cruz and Omar Mateen as they have on a 10 year old, consensual, one night stand between two private citizens.
I think it is actually three federal felonies a day the average person commits. The reason for having all these laws is just what they are doing with Trump. When someone is a problem to the power of the deep state they use their ridiculous laws to stop them. Most of us are compliant tax payers who do exactly as we are told so we don’t get to see the truth.I have said again and again, people ought to read the federal criminal statutes. They’re so vague there isn’t a person in this country who hasn’t violated at least one/year. And if the entire power and resources of the federal government are resolved to criminalize you, you’re done unless you have immense resources.
