Am I understanding the opinions of some here correctly?

A lawyer can never be found guilty of doing something illegal if they do it for a client because attorney-client privilege protects the lawyer.

Wow, I think I need to go to law school.

No, but what purpose does it serve to raid the attorney of the President, who is under an open investigation for any crime he may have ever committed, carried out by an army of prosecutors, because he may have paid to silence a porn star about an affair? That is a crime? The crime itself is a joke. Breaking confidentially and opening up his private attorney correspondence on this matter is dangerous.

Meanwhile the same government didn’t storm into Clinton’s house to get the emails she most definitely improperly handled.

There we go with HRC again. Don’t have a better argument, just bring up HRC. 😝

No, I made an argument and then pointed out that HRC was allowed to carry our serious crimes. It means, sadly, our legal system is a joke.

Much as I hate to say this, I thought what Clinton did was violate the standards of what the administration put in place, not break a law. I could be wrong.

Should everyone in the future be excused because someone in the past did not pay a penalty? Cool. Let’s throw out all laws, since someone somewhere has bypassed each one of them.

our legal system is a joke
It does seem so when prosecutors are turned loose with unlimited budgets in order to find crimes to prosecute, and without any known crime having been committed.

And on the other hand, when FBI and DOJ do their best to hide evidence of the sale of American interests to foreigners for $150 million dollars.

It really is a joke.

Millions have once it happened to them.
I don’t understand you comment.

You posted:
But since the left believes it will never lose power again once it regains it, Dems don’t see the potential hazard in what they’re doing. Nor do they seem to realize that sometimes purges are internal.
I am wondering if any Dem, or anyone at all, believes they will never loose power … don’t see how your post responds to that wonder.

That was pretty much the context and crux of your post .Nothng else to ponder specifically to RR and S Sorrows both of whom you appear to delight in correcting.

Probably I’ll buy this book. I have, for years, believed this. All you have to do is read the criminal sections of the U.S. Code. Scare you to death. You commit crimes without intending it. The only missing piece is a prosecutor who wants to prosecute you.

A joke except for the fact people’s lives are ruined. We should pray we never ourselves become a target of this beast.

I think they do. They act as if the tide can never turn on them. They didn’t expect it this time, but Trump surprised them. So he has to go, electorate or no electorate.

My post asked if evidence could be found to support the idea there are actual people or an actual person who holds the beliefs and thoughts ascribed to the “Dems” by RR. That was its content. Perhaps you would like to weigh in with supporting evidence that there are such people.

I think they do. They act as if the tide can never turn on them. T
I disagree. Not only have I Never met anyone of any political persuasion who thinks thous thoughts, But it seems very unlikely that Democrats hold these thoughts being out of the WH, and given their minority position the Senate, House, governorships, and state legislatures.

There was no response beyond a general snRky respons for me to comment on,pay attention !

It looks like they are also looking for evidence of Trump/Cohen collaboration with the National Enquirer to silence someone else.

Is this possibly a RICO case? Is it illegal to pay off women for silence? How would you make that an ongoing criminal enterprise?

Is wire fraud and bank fraud the underlying enterprise?
