From what I saw, they were having fun with the meme it was started by a gender reveal party.

Of course they are.

West Coast officials are already fighting wildfires. Now they’re fighting…

At least six groups have issued warnings about the false rumors, including some asking the public to stop sharing the misinformation.
There is absolutely no bias in that article at all. (Sarcasm intended)
Facebook & “Fox News” are not reliable sources.
Facebook is not but Fox News is. You may not like Fox News but many of us do.

Facebook & “Fox News” are not reliable sources.
Fox News is much more reliable than any source you have mentioned. This looks like nothing less than an ad hom attack on Fox and totally off-topic to boot.

Fox News is about as reliable as CNN, just on the other end of the political spectrum. As with any entity of the MSM, take it with a grain of salt.

But they are influencing entities.
And there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, America is built on the idea of free exchange of ideas.

Neither is NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, WAPO, or NYT.

Probably false. But then, progressives mismanagement of forest lands, electrical infrastructure and water management is.

Why is it hard to believe that people who would burn down stores would also burn forests or scrubland? I realize many if not most of these Antifa people are middle class suburban young people, and maybe they’re afraid of snakes in the woods and don’t burn them because they’re afraid to go in them.

But NBC is one of the more unbelievable information sources.

Are the law enforcement agencies begging people not to believe these obvious lies more or less believable than NBC?

Authorities have arrested at least four people for suspected arson in the massive and still-growing wildfires in California, Oregon, and Washington.

According to reports, authorities in those states say that at least four of the fires are considered suspicious.

California authorities arrested suspect Anita Esquivel for allegedly intentionally setting fires along U.S. 101.

She was booked into the Monterey County Jail on arson charges.

Oregon authorities also arrested Michael Jarrod Bakkela, who lived in the woods of Oregon on two counts of arson, 15 counts of criminal mischief, and 14 counts of reckless endangerment.

Oregon Live reports that Bakkela is reportedly responsible for setting one of two major wildfires in the state, which has killed dozens and displaced hundreds. . . .

. . . CNN on Thursday reported that the wildfires across the western states torched more than 4 million acres, which is roughly the size of the state of New Jersey. . . .

.

In all fairness to the leftists nationally. There have been SOME false rumors too. . . .
. . . . BUT . . . .
. . . Quite obviously though not all of those “rumors” about the leftists starting the wildfires are false.

Well should we believe the law enforcement agencies who are making arrests?
Yes, the ones saying antifa arsonists setting fires is a myth. Police arrest people intentionally setting wildfires every single year in the western United States.

"The news comes as Democrat politicians continue to blame the fires across the region on climate change. . ."

Four Arrested for Arson on the West Coast, One a ‘Regular Attendee’ of Anti-Cop Rallies in Seattle

Four individuals — two in Washington, one in Oregon, and another in California — have been arrested for arson as firefighters battle dozens of blazes across the West Coast. One of the arrestees is reportedly a “regular attendee” of anti-police rallies in Seattle.

Michael Jarrod Bakkela, 41, has been accused of arson, partially sparking the massive Almeda fire, according to the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office. Oregon Live reported that he has been arrested on “two counts of arson, 15 counts of criminal mischief and 14 counts of reckless endangerment”:
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Friday afternoon that on Tuesday evening, a resident of Phoenix saw a person, later identified as Bakkela, lighting a fire behind their house on Quail Lane. Because there was an impending blaze, the residents who saw him set the fire had to flee their home.

Bakkela was arrested and initially lodged in the Jackson County Jail on Tuesday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He remains in jail on the arson and criminal mischief charges.
The Almeda fire has destroyed at least 700 homes and resulted in at least two fatalities.

Elsewhere, authorities arrested two individuals in connection with the fires in Washington. One of the suspects, Jeffrey Alan Acord, has been accused of setting a fire along Highway 167. He live-streamed himself on the scene of the fire and reported it to police, claiming that he “literally pulled over to call it in.”

“Other drivers, however, told police they watched the 36-year-old Puyallup man walk into a field carrying a lighter and cardboard,” KIRO 7 reported.

The outlet added that Acord is a “regular attendee at Seattle ‘defund police’ rallies.” He is also facing charges for allegedly breaking into a gas station.

Jacob Altona, 28, has also been arrested in connection to arson.

Additionally, Anita Esquivel, 37, has been arrested for deliberately setting fires in California, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The news comes as Democrat politicians continue to blame the fires across the region on climate change. . . .

I remember a story earlier in the year where a democrat set fire to a democrat headquarters building in Phoenix or Tucson I believe.
