The US has had secret prisons for terrorists for decades.
If you know the history, why are you advocating that we repeat it?I’m familiar with history. Didn’t need to read it to know what the reichstag fire is
That’s always how the liberal state enforces its rights anyway, so they definitely agree with you. “Rights” aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.I see no issue with denying rights to people who attack the country that gives them those rights. As soon as the riot started they forfeited their protection under the constitution as far as I’m concerned.
You did a pretty good job of gutting the Bill of Rights there. Accused criminals (regardless of crime) are the one who need the most protection against the state.I see no issue with denying rights to people who attack the country that gives them those rights. As soon as the riot started they forfeited their protection under the constitution as far as I’m concerned.
For a gentleman deeply afraid of Communistic authoritarianism, you’re uncommonly comfortable with the systematic denial of due process, civil rights, and basic human decency. I applaud your honesty, but I’ll have to mute you now.The bill of rights hasn’t mattered in any meaningful way in decades. It’s ignored by the government anytime it’s inconvenient. Passing gun control, surveillance of suspects, etc. might as well drop the charade.
