How funny… I thought I was the only one who does this!Well, I said it so there was no reason not to believe me. I just mean sometimes, I get so caught up arguing, I lose track of what I am saying.![]()

Yeah, that’s how most of his posts have been throughout this thread. That’s why I haven’t responded to them.no silly! I didn’t mean you were rude…I meant his comment was rude. Maybe rude isn’t the right word…more like random and dumb.
My fellow youth, what do you feel is the significance, if any, of what I believe to be a dual calling to married motherhood and diplomacy? I feel called to serve both a family and my country. Is the latter call illegitimate? Unholy? Unfeminine? I don't care much about money beyond having my basic needs met. I simply feel called to serve in both spheres.
looky here mr smitty, i dont know who you think you are telling others that you think that women should all be SAHM’s. if this were to happen, men would once again become the dominiant sex. women have only just regained there rightful status in society as equals. i also take some serious offence to you saying that women are not the masters of the house hold. my mum was very much the master.Of course you’re not. Look at the age you grew up in, the 6660’s, as I like to call them. Just a few months ago, this was the cover story of Time or some other liberal magazine, so that shows you how true it must be considering it goes contrary to their bias.
I’m not saying it’s impossible to do, but I would suggest that you read Kate O’Beirn’s book before you go around acting like working mothers is a good thing.
Read my prior post (#5).Maybe you were wrong for saying that I am wrong and not reading all that I’ve written.

You cannot be pro-choice and Catholic. Abortion is murder.dear every one who reads this. i think women are equal to men. i also think that smittys head is full of air. further more i take personal offence to people who are agaianst homosexuals. i myself am not one, but God gave me a mind, and i intend to keep it open. if things keep goin like this, jsmitty will soon be telling us that abortion is wrong. i am catholic. i bleieve in God. i, co-incidentally am PRO-CHOICE. i hope others can be to.![]()
It is in no way a coincidence that you are pro-abortion. It is the logical conclusion of the feminist mindset. At least you’re consistent. You cannot, however, call yourself a Catholic. Sorry.i, co-incidentally am PRO-CHOICE. i hope others can be to.![]()
Not your call. Sorry. You cannot, however, call yourself a Catholic. Sorry.
Actually, it is the duty of Catholics to tell their brethren when they are not in line with the Church’s teaching. Not to do so would be sinful. “I confess to Almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault. In my thoughts and in my words. In what I have done and what I have failed to do…” Sound familiar? Although only the Magisterium can declare someone as officially being a heretic, we have the obligation to point our fellow man in the right direction when they’ve obviously gone astray. I can assure you that that’s what Christians are called to do. If you think that’s judgmental or intolerant or closed-minded, then so be it.Not your call. Sorry.

It’s not immoral. But like it or not, times change. Ideas change. Just because one group chooses to adhere to the words of a book that is 2,000 years old does NOT mean everyone should. Or has to. Therefore, you have to accept that idea change and that always remaining the same is not the way this country functions. Or this world. How is it immoral to carry the mantle of these women and their ideals?
