Predictions for the SB are all over the place at this stage. Even for WCW, the only thing the talking heads seem to agree on is that the Saints will beat the Vikings.
The Eagles made the playoffs with mostly a different team than they started the season with. I think they did well. With so many injuries itās too difficult in the NFL.
Only Drew knows. But in light of the way the last three seasons have ended for the Saints, I believe he wants to go out on a positive note. If that is the Super Bowl, terrific, but even if that does not happy, he wants to go out on a positive performance in a playoff game.
Iām a Denver fan and painfully watched John Elway, with failing knees and back issues, play his heart out to end on a high note. Heās still quite active in the Denver area and itās almost pitiful at times to see him rising out of a chair or walking. Does he now think it was worth it? I have no idea but if Drew is weighing his options, Iād hope he would have a good heart to heart with Johnā¦and then decide. Those final two years can be brutal as they know itās their last but also put their all into itā¦and body be dammed.
