So, in the AFC its pats versus titans, and steelers versus jags.
 
Saints ( Mark Ingram ( Heisman ) ) beat the Panthers ( Cam Newton ( Heisman )) for a 3rd time.

Titans ( Mariota ( Heisman ) & Henry ( Heisman ) ) upset the Chiefs.

NFL Divisional Playoffs

Saturday:
Falcons at Eagles (+3) - 4:35 ET
Titans at Patriots (-13.5) - 8:15 ET

Sunday:
Jaguars at Steelers (-7) - 1:05 ET
Saints at Vikings (-5) - 4:40 ET

The Falcons have been on the rise and are favored by 3 over the Eagles in Philly, but it’s going to be tough. The Eagles have the #1 overall rush defense, and the #3 rushing offense this season. And games are won and lost in the trenches. So IF the Eagles can find some success running the ball, they certainly have a chance to win. As for backup QB Nick Foles, I don’t know what to expect, but Atlanta’s defense is both fast and very good at the corners.

The latest word is the Eagles are well rested and will be playing with a chip on their shoulders come Saturday night, so it might be an interesting game!

Does anyone else have thoughts or predictions for these games? If not, are there any priests around who can stop by and give this thread its last rites, please? 😁

I lived in Philly for 10 years, so I’d like to see the Eagles win. An all Pennsylvania Super Bowl would be great!

My dilemma for the day is to figure out which jersey to wear for the Steelers game. I’m leaning towards AB, but if things go sideways I may have to pull out the big guns and go with vintage Lambert.

It was clear by halftime that it was over. Was I imagining things or were the Titans playin zone? That does not work against the Pats. In fact, in general, I’m not a fan of a zone defense.
