Lots of respect for Big Ben and company though. A very solid team but too many TOs today.
 
Todd Haley better get fired… and that offsides kick killed us… the TO’s could be dealt with
 
I agree heads better roll. I’ve seen better onside kicks in high school football. They never should have done that.

C’mon, it was a Rocky Balboa moment for the Eagles last night! Yes, few gave them a chance to win without Wentz. So now they have to gear up and do it all over again next Sunday against the Vi…nooo, wait…the Sain…nooooo, yes,…the Vikings!

As for the Steelers game, some of those 4th down play calls were rather unexpected. The one call should have been a QB sneak for an easy first down. The pitch-out play was risky and obviously backfired. On the other, the play-action pass play might have worked if the DB wasn’t holding the receiver down field which wasn’t even called by the refs anyway. Then Ben throws 2 deep 4th down passes for touchdowns which I can’t ever remember seeing happen in any one game in my lifetime!

Ben had a great game at least. But have to give credit where it’s due. The Jags came ready to play and got the job done. Although I did hear there may be investigation underway to make sure it wasn’t the UCF players dressed up in the Jaguar uniforms playing the game today! 🤣

Also, sounds like Big Ben is coming back.
 
Ben has said he wants to play three more years. I don’t know about that, but it certainly looks like he’ll be back for one more.

The Vikings are almost finished their storybook season. The spectacular miracle win last Sunday leaves them one final win away from hosting the Super Bowl at their home stadium in Minneapolis! Talk about incentive…

How can you possibly stop that momentum train?

The Eagles & Vikings both have championship caliber defenses…

The problem for Minnesota? Their final win has to happen in Philadelphia!

Add in Keith Butler the defensive coordinator and I’ll be happy. How do you give up 70 plus points in two games to Blake Bortles?? Somebody didn’t have these guys ready to play (which has been the story all season long) and that is the head coach’s responsibility.
 
I agree. Tomlin was already looking ahead to playing NE and talking about it. Bad move. But he’s not going anywhere.
 
For me, it’s now anyone but NE. Actually, it’s always anyone but NE, but I’d really like to see the Eagles win it all.

The last championship the Eagles won was against a Vince Lombardi coached Packers team back in 1960.

From what I understand, the Eagles were the only team ever to defeat a Lombardi coached Packers team in the playoffs, btw…

Heck, now that I think about it, what a coincidence that the Eagles haven’t been able to win a championship since the Super Bowl trophy became the “Vince Lombardi Trophy”!

Yeah, they lost the Super Bowl to the Raiders back in 1981 27-10 after beating them during the regular season that year!

Then lost to the Patriots in the 2005 SB in a very close game 24-21 (what a tease that was!)

I mean really…
