Regarding the “change of topic” we are not. I asked why her affair is any concern with regard to executive office. The reason why sexual affairs are no longer a disqualifier and irrelevant is because neither party has cared when their man was doing the philandering.

Trump was notable because conservatives had been holding the standard on this issue.
Yep, it is sadly an age old trend in some quarters of Christianity…man sleeps around, cheats - “oh well, its wrong, but men will be men”. Woman cheats or has one illicit affair - “what a wh*re! what a disgusting trollop! What a Jezebel! The shame! The shame!”. You see hints of this even in this thread…

In the old testment men were allowed concubines. Cleopatra certainly had no problem ruling a nation although she had to get rid of few siblings here and there not unlike many of the Christian kings.

Today there is no double standards, both males and females sleep around, now there is an improvment. Got rid of the double standard. 🤔

Well if a male politician “sleeps around” it’s probably not to advance his career.
In the case of Kamala Harris it appears that she did sleep around to advance her political career. That doesn’t seem calculated at all, does it?

I think . . . her actions are . . . sad for all the women who are actually working and striving to succeed and doing so without sleeping with the boss or a powerful politician … though years later if that sex for wealth and power does not work out - they can always cry sexual harassment, rape, sexual assault and see what kind of power, fame and rewards that “me too” status brings …

and the word “is” had a meaning no one ever knew before …
If you ever examined the context in which he made the famous statement, you would see that his answer is legalistic but correct. See how internet rumors spread?

defend the indefensible all you want - pick the "legalistic meaning of the word “is” and make that your argument … yes perhaps true …

How correct was his finger wagging “I did not have sex with that woman Miss Lewinsky” as he looked the American people in the eye … and lied through his teeth

and oral sex … is that not sex?

sheesh … I know many Dems still think Clinton is wonderful and presidential and all that … however, sex with an intern or any woman in the Oval Office is never acceptable, presidential or correct …

No ‘perhaps’ to it. If you knew the context you’d leave it alone. Clinton was correct.

And after his impeachment, Clinton apologized to the naiton. Trump should learn from this but he’s not good at admitting shortcomings.

I do not think that President Clinton should have been impeached.
However, what this Harris-Brown affair does is eliminate any argument that leftists may have against President Trump without also criticizing Harris.
