Once same sex marriage is the law of the nation, which i believe will happen withing 3-5 years, than it is a simple matter of time before churches are sued into compliance with the left’s agenda…it has been happening for two decades.So far.
(in the USA, anyway).

I agree. Within the context of the spiritual battle that literally surrounds us, we always face tests and trials.I believe: This is a test.
God throws us a pebble-before He throws a brick.
I believe we have a 2nd chance-but the odds are high against us. So many proclaimed “Catholics” disregarded the Guidelines for Serious Catholic Voters put out by many of the Bishops of our Country. Argued their “feelings” and voted for the most Pro-Death President in the History of our Country.
Did they learn? Did they repent?
Or is their Hope still in this secularist?
We shall see.
This Secularist President has surrounded himself with Catholics who are not obedient to the Bishops who Define and Teach the Teachings of the Church (most obvious-their acceptance of Abortion surrounding him). Those who do not know their Faith (or choose not to obey) say, Look! He has Catholics in his Cabinet!

So yes, we have received a special gift, this Grace.

That is sort of the point. The idea that gay marriage is somehow special in that it is going to be the death of stable American society when legalized divorce, abortion, birth control, etc. haven’t done it is crazy. Society does not collapse as a result of one thing and the idea that previous societies have collapsed because of the acceptance of homosexuality is completely unsupportable. History is not so well recorded that we can determine the specifics of any societies collapse unless it was a result of something obvious like war, famine, or disease. Even if Christian Civilization does collapse in the near future it won’t be because gays were allowed to marry, it may be a contributing factor, but we do ourselves a great disservice whenever we latch onto one issue like this. There are more battles going on than than homosexual marriage and if we were to somehow win that battle while ignoring all the others we wouldn’t really be any better off.They are both sides of the same coin.
Didnt Jesus said that the end would be just the days of Noah? i think we are living those days. everybody is going about their business and Jesus is the last one in their minds.Do not forget, Saint Faustina was told to prepare the world for Jesus’ Second Coming. Speaking of listening it seems like you didn’t even listen to my point. I did not base anything on personal emotions, the only thing I said that could be construed as such was that IF I were to make a doomsday declaration I would base it on abortion. I do not however support doomsday declarations because that is not what the Church teaches. As I said hope is a central virtue of the Church, despair is a state of sin. Christ can conquer all things and will never give you more to bear than you are capable of withstanding. I can freely dispute what this “Wise Priest” is saying because a great many “Wise Priests” are not predicting the end of society. Yes the Pope has that that the Breakdown of Family leads to the Breakdown of Society, and that legalizing Gay Marriage lends to that, but he has never said that Gay Marriage would destroy society on its own. There is a very large gap between recognizing sin and its effects and being fearful of those effects. God and the Church can and will preserve until the last days, sometimes will be harder than other yes, but more saints come from struggle than from comfort.Faith and Morals are dictated through the Magisterial Hierarchy in the Catholic Church. Our Faith does not allow us to rely upon our own personal Emotions (what we think or feel)-when it comes to the determination of Sin.
The world changes-yes. But God is the same today as He was yesterday, and He will be tomorrow. Same God-Same Laws, with the Catholic Church to define and make the determination-as led by God the Holy Spirit-as to what is Right and what is Wrong (Sin). Are some sins more grave-carry more gravity than others?
Sin is sin.
Both forms of Sin (of being unchaste-practicing Homosexual and Abortion) are Mortal Sins.
Dangerous thought-if I relied upon my own thoughts and feelings as to what is Right and Wrong (in all situations)-or even the Gravity of Particular Sins. Here, we have a Wise Priest who knows firsthand the ways of the Devil giving us a commentary as to what this means to our Society.
We would do well to listen to him. And pray for our Country. Sodomy has been the downfall of cities and civilizations in the past…regardless of what the citizens “think.”
The Breakdown of the Family leads to the Breakdown of Society. Father Euteneuer, Father Frank Pavone, Father Corapi, Father Mitch Pacwa and Mother Angelica (all very visible and important) (among others, including our Popes) have been warning us.

Seriously? You would be okay with our government not recognizing Cathoic marriages as valid?Oh and in regards to the thought that courts are going to try to force the Church to perform Gay Marriages, what is the defense for the point that no one has tried to force the Church to allow females into the priesthood based on discrimination clauses? Really the worst I could see happening is that churches may not be able to issue legal marriage licenses anymore, and I don’t see that ability as being terribly important.
The left wants everyone to say that same sex marriage is the same as man/woman marriage, that there is absolutely no difference. They will NOT stop until the law makes them equal across the board. To the left gays being denied marriage by any church is a hate crime, is a sign of illegal discrimination and they will sue to make churches marry gays.Seriously?
