Little girl can’t be too proud if she is trying to hide her identity by wearing glasses.
This is like saying Jack from the Jack in the Box commercials must not be too proud because he’s hiding his identity lol. Have you never seen a mascot or a person dressing up to market their product before?

She is not a mascot. She is a little girl and usually they are very proud to have their pictures taken. There is no mention of her name and her face can not be identified because of glasses.

In 2014, in Phoenix, 8-year-old Lexi Menees has sold cookies in front of marijuana facilities for two years . No age or name for girl in Oregon who sold cookies outside shop only says she was with aunt.

Colorado has banned their girl scouts from doing so.

Girl Scots are also set up outside local dispensaries in my city. Smart girls!

What city is that? Post news story if true.

They aren’t selling girl scout cookies “laced with marijuana.” They just sell a strain of the plant called GSC. It would be impossible to sell girl scout cookies laced with marijuana unless the girl scouts baked them that way - you can’t just take already baked cookies and “lace” them.

Putting the cookie stand outside the grocery store would probably get sales of people wanting just to support Girl Scouts. Grocery stores sell cookies. And grocery shopping doesn’t tend to produce the munchies. 😉

There are endless places little girls could make great sales outside of selling cookies - bars, liquor stores, strip joints and in Nevada, prostitution businesses but that does not make it a good influence. They all want to be seen as healthy legitimate businesses.

If one cheers for this girl’s “smart” sense of business it would seem hypocritical not to open to all legal businesses.

It’s a "smart " decision because marijuana use tend to increase the appetite and cravings for junk food.

Using your logic, so would sex create appetitie so being outside a prostitution ranch in Nevada would be a :smart" business decision.

I mean I really don’t think buying or smoking weed is a problem, unlike sleeping with potentially financially desperate or trafficked women. The girls aren’t even associated with the dispensary, they’re just selling cookies outside of it.

I didn’t judge it either way. But that’s the reason why her sales were so good.

Race tracks have policies that don’t allow underage betting and even do not permit underage people into their establishment, Granted once a year they have family day which I will never understand in which they let toddlers in and give children free popcorn and soda.

To me an adult establishment should just be that.

I see the pot industry using this little girl to say hey, we are legitimate and we support girl scouts. Shame

Also shame on the girl scout leaders who are not taking a stand by saying we are the ones promoting the selling and here are the rules like Colorado did. The leadership of girl scouts are well paid positions.

I don’t see anything wrong with selling outside a legal store. It’s not as though she set up on a downtown corner beside the local crack dealer.
Brilliant move, actually.
While I agree with everything you write, I would have had my daughter skip the sale of cookies outside a store devoted to the sale of marijuana only because I am very concerned about marijuana use by children. It may seem overly cautious, but I would want to impress upon my child just how much I don’t want her to smoke marijuana. I can hear her now, “BUT MUUTHERRR…”.

It is criminal to have a daughters hair cut I don’t think so. The dad may have thought he was preventing her from growing up too fast but was cruel.

Strippers for male sons seems to be common yet very inappropriate possibly criminal don’t know the law.

Bad parents!! These families and now we know of atleast three who sold cookies outside the pot stores probably thought they were making their child happy because she is selling lots of cookies but still just bad parents because of where they sold them.

Neither the stores nor girl scouts seem to care.

The dad “assaulted” his progeny and cut her hair against her will. I’m not saying it’s a great case, but there is a case.

I’m sure there is some morals charge on the books for having someone nude and fondling your 12 yr old child.

The parents helping sell cookies broke your moral code, but no laws. I never said it was good parenting, just that it was legal parenting.
