Harvard Will Host 'Reenactment' of Satanic Mass

These people may not believe in Satan but he believes in them. They are putting themselves in spiritual danger.

Thank you for this. Whether it be a mock flippant “educational” endeavor or a true Black Mass, the occult is involved making it highly dangerous. And if in fact it is a true Black Mass using a consecrated host (which btw are not at all that hard for Satanists to come by) it is not only very dangerous but HIGHLY offensive and VILE to Our Lord! From what I have read previously, they sent flyers out stating that it is indeed a “Black Mass” with a consecrated Host, and then when the Archdiocese became involved, they retracted it. And I guess we should believe them.:rolleyes: I guess I’m one of those “alarmists”:rolleyes: that believes none of this will have a good outcome…regardless.

If I were attending Harvard, I would try to organize a multi-denominational Christian prayer event at the same time as the black mass. Reacting to the black mass clearly plays into their hands, but creating a joy filled alternative might give people some pause.

From what I have read there is going to be a Eucharistic Procession (can’t remember now from what point to what point) at the same time this Black Mass is going on. They will process through the streets with the Blessed Sacrament from MIC(?) to one of the Catholic Churches etc. You can be sure if this is publicized enough, there will be a Christian response. Harvard needs to wash their hands of this thing. Why they haven’t yet is a mystery.

You are suggesting that this specific group is ‘not allowed’ to hold a re-enactement of a black mass unless they have first done one for a catholic mass, despite the fact that there are already regular masses on campus?

Why?

For that matter are the Harvard Catholics also obliged to hold a black mass before they can continue holding the regular variety?

Is that enough balance for you? I’m sure that if Catholics want to do an evening exploring the Catholic mass, the club would be happy to consider it.

My thoughts exactly. Anyone having anything to do with a Black Mass or even the “reenactment” of a Black Mass is playing with fire. Like someone here said: “They may not even believe in Satan, but Satan believes in them.”

The Eucharistic Procession will be hosted by the Archdiocese of Boston from MIT to St. Paul’s Parish in Boston. Just thought I’d clarify.
 
What events does the Harvard Extension Cultural Studies Club have planned next? Perhaps a mock burning of the Koran? A re-enactment of an honor killing? A Black Seder featuring desecration of Jewish symbols? A parody of a Quaker ceremony? Surely there are many possibilities.
 
It’s interesting to note that the satanists aren’t stealing the hosts from an Anglican church or a Baptist Church, or a Presbyterian Church etc…they’re taking them from a CATHOLIC church.

The other churches dont profess that their hosts are the Real Presence of Christ. That could be why.

That’s just the point. Satanists don’t wish to desecrate a mere symbol; they wish to desecrate the Real Presence of Christ.
 
We, as Christians (ALL Christians, protestant and catholic) should unite in prayer, and if possible go to an evening mass tonight. May the grace and power of God prevail. Amen

EXACTLY. They KNOW that the consecrated Host is the body of Jesus, and if they DIDN’T believe that, they may be mocking Christ in a more Protestant fashion…or maybe not at all. Wouldn’t even give that aspect the time of day. Nor would they want to “reenact” the Mass itself in their perverted way, if they thought the Mass was bogus. But they KNOW EXACTLY what the Mass is and how to attack it.
 
With regard to the potential for abuse of consecrated hosts (and I apologize if anyone has already mentioned this), I believe strongly that we should return to communion on the tongue, NOT in hand, ever.

In fact, I like the Orthodox method:
  • Communion is given to known parishioners
  • They are called by their Christian name (whether that is their birth or confirmation name in the case of a non-Christian birth name) when taking communion
  • To attend a different church, one requires a signed form from their priest confirming that they are Orthodox, etc.
  • Communion is NEVER taken in hand
At first, when I read about all that, I thought “what a hassle!”…but it would prevent scenarios of stolen consecrated hosts as well as non-Catholics/non-believers going up for communion just because everyone else is when they have no concept of what the Eucharist is (something that can happen at a wedding or funeral where mixed backgrounds come together).
