Has Mary ever appeared to YOU?

Another event occured I believe last November. I was 18 at the time and I had visited some family at night and I felt so lonely and hated. I felt so depressed over the last years because of all the attacks I have been receiving from evil. I absolutely felt like bursting out crying after I left the house. And so, I left to a chapel we had late at night nearby… I was praying to our Lord… why all this pain… I needed comfort. So when I left the chapel, there was this statue of mother mary in the court yard and a stone stool I sat on next to the statue. It was around 11 pm at night and I was by myself and I just kept crying and I opened up all that I had and said everything to Mother Mary.

I started walking out to the middle of the big parking lot to drive back home and all of a sudden a extraordinary and powerful scent of roses and flowers surrounded me and filled my nose even though my nose was congested. I looked around and there were absolutely no flowers or trees, just empty parking lot. The smell was so warming to my heart and I knew at that moment I felt Mother surround me with her arms. I had never in my life smelled that powerful smell of roses that just obliterated my conjestion in my nose. Whenever I walk past that statue everyday I always tell Mother never to forget me and be as my advocate and to pray for me.

Ever since then I have been going on a good daily routine at days of saying the Rosary and especially the Hail Holy Queen!

I would make an appointment with a psychiatrist if I was to see the Blessed Virgin.

She has never appeared to my but I did hear her call my voice one time. I was going through a lot of stress and I was lying awake at night and I hear a clear beautiful voice speak my name once. The voice was spoken in a tone that meant to convey to me that I should have strength and stop worrying, and also that she would be with me and help me.

In general I do not believe in supernatural things and have never revealed this to ANYONE before. But I do believe she spoke to me and it did give me comfort.

That sounds just like my experience!

Yes, in a couple of dreams. The second one was when I was away from the Church, trying to find my way, etc. when I had a dream of being in a church. Up at the front on the left side I saw Jesus crucified and Mary on his right side. Mary gestured for me to come forward, inclining her head slightly to her Son. I felt myself levitate slightly, my toes just brushing the carpet as I floated towards them before I woke. It wasn’t long after that when I returned to the Church. She specifically came to me to call me back to her Son.

no, but my dead Grandfather appeared to me about one year after he died… after i investigated i learned i had a corporeal vision… he walked into room and out , i was not scared as i knew he would not hurt me, after he left i quickly turned on radio and checked outwhat song was on , and wrote note just saw grandpa… and time… later called radio station and they did play that song then… took long time to sink in but ultimately caused my conversion to Catholic. from Lutheran… years after vision walked into Catholic Church and it hit me on head that what Catholic grandfather was telling me was that Religion is all true, or he could not have appeared to me and Catholic was the correct one… the Mother Church…
true story !!!

That’s really sweet. God bless you for sharing. It brought a tear to my face.

Only in a dream, she was crying, I begged her "please don’t cry " her tears dried up in an instant, then she started to smile, that’s about it ! don’t know what it means, probably nothing…

Wow! That’s truly wonderful. I just wish that more people would have things like this happen to them to get them to believe but that won’t happen, like Jesus said in one of his parables about the rich man and the poor man at his door.

God Bless!

  • I am not sure if this counts as Mary appearing to me but when I was young, between the ages of 12 - 15 years old, I had two experiences with the image of Our Lady of Fatima that have remained with me to this day.
The one experience was with a statue of Our Lady of Fatima that my family had in our little chapel growing up. My mother had made a few, very beautiful, garments for her to wear depending on the time of year and what major feast day was at hand. Easter or Christmas One day my little brother came tearing out of our little chapel with an ash-white face and with just sheer fear. ( Come to find out later, he had been playing with the candle we had burning in the chapel and had put it too close to the statue and had caught the garments on fire.) I rushed to the chapel room and as I rounded the corner I saw the statue amidst flames and it seemed for a split second that the statue was not a statue anymore. But Our Blessed Mother herself surrounded by blue flames saying in a pleading voice; “please, help me!” I know the voice was more like all in my head but I know I heard it and I knew what I was seeing was her amidst flames but not on her pedestal but off to the side of it and slightly closer to me. It moved me so much that I immediately responded to her plea and refocused my eyes to where the statue really was and went right up to the statue grabbed her from the flames and carried her out of the chapel down the hallway through the kitchen and into the bathroom and laid her in the tub. My memory is kind of sketchy about this. I remember grabbing her and carrying her out of the chapel and to the bathroom and laying her in the tub and pouring water on her to try and put out the flames that she was burning from I am just not sure how I did it. My mother remembers that some how I got her into the bathtub and ran water on her to put out the flames. We do not know if my sisters helped at this point or not. I seem to remember them helping in some capacity. The saddest thing is that after we had put out the flames the statue broke into seven pieces I remember just looking at her there in the towel on the table were my sisters and I had laid her out and counting the seven pieces and being reminded of her seven sorrows. The statue was unfixable so we had something like a wake for her and then buried her because it was a blessed statue. I never did ever talk to anyone about this at the time. I remember just being numb by the whole experience. I am not sure numb is the right word. It was a kind of dumbness that was like for once in my life I did not try to analyze it I just sat back and quietly accepted it and let myself absorb the moment. It was like I just accepted it and it made me feel this kind of humbling speechlessness. I really did not have anything to say about it and it just impressed upon me that she had asked me to help her and I had said I would and I did. To this day I am not sure exactly why I never told anyone at the time but I believe it is because it never crossed my mind that it was something I needed to tell anyone. It was like she had asked me to help her and I had said yes and did. End of story. I just remember feeling so humbled and filled with peace and joy that she had asked me and that I had made every effort on my part to get her out of those flames and even though I was sad that she broke into seven pieces I was at peace with it.
The other experience was also with a statue of Our Lady of Fatima. I believe from what I have found out that it was one of the miraculous statues of Our lady of Fatima. The group that my family was very involved with growing up had her at their headquarters and we went to see her. As I was praying I remember just being so fixed on her in wonderment. I remember I was trying to stay focused on the rosary that I was trying to pray but my mind kept wondering. I remember in one of my efforts of trying to keep my mind focused I was trying to visualize how long and huge her mantel must be. I had been told that a rose was added to her mantel for every Hail Mary that was said. As I gazed at her from the side, trying to envision this and realizing how difficult it would be for her to walk around because of how huge her mantel was with all the Hail Mary’s that were being said by so many people, it seemed as if suddenly all I say was her face. She had the most sorrowful and imploring look on her face with tears streaming down and in seemingly helplessness she seemed to again be turning to me imploring me to help her and in my head she seemed to say “they are getting it all wrong!” Again I walked away numb. I was not really sure what to make of the whole thing. I knew she was referring to the group my family was involved with and even though I was completely speechless and humbled by the whole experience it made no sense. At the time I do believe my father had his disagreements here and there but for the most part had never said anything to make me believe that they where even remotely close to getting it all wrong so again I said nothing to anyone.
But the whole experience did something to me. I started to put more of an effort into my prayer life and really did take it to heart to try and figure out how she wanted me to help her or what she ever meant by telling me that they were getting it al wrong. I would sneak up after Liturgy, during coffee hour on Sundays, and just stand there in front of the icons of Our Blessed Mother and Jesus just gazing into there eyes, trying to understand it all and trying to see if I would experience the same thing again. It was just a simple gaze of looking into their eyes but no words were ever spoken again. It was like no words were needed just simple gazing into their eyes was all I needed to do to talk to them. *

Continued
I really did start to take penance and prayer to a whole new level even though I never really did seem to get an answered as to what she was asking me or what she meant by what she said.
I am not sure I could really say Our Blessed Mother Mary actually appeared to me but I can say that because of the experiences I had with Our Lady of Fatima I am who and what I am today. I know my relationship withher and her Son, Jesus Christ, are real and that it is because of those experiences that I see things the way I do. I could never have imagined the scope or depth or impact of what a couple of simple statements from Our Blessed Mother Mary could have on my life. It is a scope, depth, and impact that seems to keep growing and drawing me ever more closer to her and her Son Jesus Christ. I do know and understand that for some reason God communicates to me through her a lot and that this was just one of the ways He chose to do this. Whether she actually appeared to me or if it was just God communicating to me through my vivid imagination, I just know I am completely humbled that she and her Son ever even considered asking me to help them with anything. It does leave me quite speechless, almost numb like but filled with peace, joy and serenity. No words could adequately explain it I just pray that I continue to say yes to both of them and continue to try and help them in any way I can.

That is most beautiful Simple_Soul. You are truly blest.

God Bless

I love these stories they are so beautiful.

Remember, that Our Blessed Mother always – ALWAYS – leads us and points us to the right direction her Beloved Son – Our Lord Jesus Christ.
I agree. These are believable and faith-building testimonies.

Over thirty years ago, I was considering non-Catholic churches. (I had listened to the arguments about human traditions, the Pope as the anti-Christ, etc., and had no real understanding of Catholicism at the time. Since then, I’ve done a lot more studying and praying and am happily Catholic.) In any case, I prayed for some confirmation about which path to choose, including praying to Mary, asking her how she should be honored. Her response, in a clear and audible-but-not-audible “voice”, was “Honor me by loving my Son.” As goforgoal mentioned above, our Lady always directs us to her Son.

God bless,
Dan

i had the grace of seeing our blessed mother in medjugorje ,i also get a lot of signal graces when i pray my rosaries in adoration of the host

I would really love to hear her right now. I wish Mary would appear to me or talk to me. I know God exists and I know the Catholic Church is the true Church and I believe and love all her teachings. So I don’t need a miracle to have more faith in the fact God is real and Jesus is the Christ. The King of the Universe. I just need help and comfort.

I know what you mean and i think that in our case she more in liking won’t necessarily appear to us but get signals or feelings of her presence or of peace, etc. The other day I was thinking about my dying aunt and really needed some comfort and was out in the dark walking back to my dorm and I was praying to her because I knew Jesus was wanting to comfort me but I just couldn’t feel that and so I was praying to her. And I swear I could feel her arms wrap around me and feel some peace settle in my heart, especially after I asked if this grief I was feeling for my dying aunt was anything like the pain and grief she had to endure at Calvary at the death of her Son. That feeling of peace and love and her arms around me just made me fall in love with her more and my trust in her grew as well. I love Jesus and I know he loves me but sometimes just can’t get by without comfort from my mother, especially the Blessed Mother.

God Bless

She has never appeared to me, but that would be wonderful. It must be amazing to see the queen of heaven in all her glory.

I don’t think I’m pure enough for that kind of vision, though. Mary is the height of human spiritual purity.

Yes, many times, when I was in my young age and until now she still appeared in my dreams… Last month January she appeared in my dreams 2 times and this month she still appeared in my dreams as the image of Our lady of the Holy Rosary…

Let us pray the Holy Rosary every day…🙂
