Thanks for the question. They came in the early 20th century for economic reasons and a better life. The father was required to have a sponsor, money, a job, and a place to live. They had to learn the Pledge of Allegiance, and they were never supported by taxpayers. They worked very hard from dawn 'til dusk, and they supported themselves. They were very Catholic, and they were great people.

It’s good to read that so many commenters recognize America as the greatest place to live. We have it great here, and we should continue to fight to KEEP America great, and fight off those who try to fundamentally change America.

We’ll have increased gang violence here in America if we don’t vet the caravan thoroughly. MS-13 members come primarily from Central America. And, 70% of the caravan is comprised of young single men.

Note to the reader: whenever you see disinformation like the 70% figure cited in the previous posting, do not believe it. In the age of Trump many fear-mongering lies have been floated, but facts and truth still matter. Demand truth.

However, the Mexican Minister of the Interior said the caravan was over 50% young men in the article I linked above.

  1. 50% < 70%
  2. “Young men” != “Single young men”
  3. Old men do not travel well.
  4. The Apostles Jesus choose were young men too.
  5. Statistically, Honduras is more Christian than the US, with 47% of them Catholic.

Former longtime Honduran consul general, Tony Banegas, interviewed by ABC15 on the migrant caravan.

American woman married to a Honduran, inside Honduras, who’s working hard to help the Hondurans make their own country a good place to live.

Her account: https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/...-improve-life-honduras-find-caravan-troubling

Based off accounts, is this kind of child-dumping what Pope Francis is encouraging us here in the States to support as he asks us to walk with migrants?

I’m hoping that everyone considers the damage unvetted open borders would do to kids. Whenever you hear about heroin and opioid addictions (more than 80% illegal drugs comes through southern boderder, including almost all of the heroin), child sex-trafficking, victims of MS-13 gangs that come through the southern border, think about the 43 Senate Democrats who voted against withholding federal funding from so-called sanctuary cities who refuse to enforce federal immigration policy.

Caravan is thinning out per one report I heard. May have been more of an election day stunt. May not even get here eventually. Last in Mexico City I heard.

Again, they are compelled to seek asylum at the first port of entry, which is Mexico. They are attempting to get into our country under that guise but it isn’t legit.

A stunt funded by the left that didnt get the results the hoped it would. They have pretty much gone silent on this issue whereas Trump is speaking out boldly 👍

The following Democrat Senators voted against the bill that would have withheld federal funding for so-called sanctuary cities that refuse to enforce federal immigration policy:
Baldwin, Booker,Bennett, Blumenthal, Brown, Cantwell, Cardin, Carper, Casey, Coons, Warren, Tester, Shaheeb\n, Reed, Peters, Murray, Menendez, Leahy, Heitkamp, Feinstein, Durbin, Heinrich, Klobucher, Murphy, Nelson, Schumer, Smith, Warner, Van Hollen, Schatz, Merkley, Markey, Kaine, Hassan, Duckworth, Harris, Jones, Udall, Wyden, Whitehouse, Hirono, Gillibrand, and Cortez Mastro.
