How many deny Jesus Christ in the Eucharist?

Exactly! Look at what the last 500 years of ongoing questioning of authority, passages and words has created? Thousands upon thousands different churches.
Jesus started it.

Shall we look at his questioning?

The quotes are symbolic.
Right! Jesus wanted us to merely consume a ‘symbol’ of His Body? Jesus was to afraid to gives us His Body,Soul and Divinity because Protestants cannot comprehend why God is capable of such a thing.

. Consuming symbolism? Tell me how that benefits anyone or their salvation?

To you,but not to the early church. Consuming symbolism? Tell me how that benefits anyone or their salvation?
“Do this in remembrance of me”

I shouldn’t have to quote this

As Radical said, it is about focusing the mind and heart on the sacrifice of Jesus. The act is a ritual, symbolic one, overladen with primitive tones.

Only a few say this. Care to point out whom you mean?
A few? If that is the case, then why need to go out and start an entire different churches? I thought Jesus already built and founded His Church? Why go start an entire new one?

Oh really? Hhmmmm…and “You have no life in you unless you EAT my Flesh and drink my Blood” Explain why Jesus would gives us a mere symbolism of Himself over His 100% Soul,Body and Divinity?

So, you accept my reference to a clearly symbolic reference to the Eucharist from Jesus himself?

In answer to your question, they are non-literal in the same way that “life” is non-literal in the same sentence.

Maybe the same reason that Jesus did? 🤷

still trying to get it right…

I do not think so! I never have accepted a symbolic Eucharist and NEVER will. If Jesus meant a symbolc Eucharist,I am curious to know why he chose not to use any dozen of Aramaic words to mean ‘symbol’ or ‘represents’ for His Body?

Protestants are no different than Jews who walked in disbelief. Same carnal understanding.

I may, not sure. Confusion has followed me all my days
Nothing wrong with confusion, with questioning, with wrestling with the Truth.

The mistake some make is in thinking that it’s simply *enough *to question.

Good for you for coming to the CAFs! 👍

You are indeed correct; her immaculate conception made her the “perfect” tabernacle for our Lord!
My position relates to after Christ’s ascension, not His birth. Therefore, the perfect tabernacle, as referenced, has no relevance to this point. Christ no longer exists within her tablernacle (womb), as you reference.

But do you agree that Mary was a tabernacle?

Metaphors very often use, in English, the word “is”, as in, “This is my body broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” Why would he need to follow up with, “I don’t mean this literally”?

I don’t know what you mean by “carnal understanding” in this context, so I will leave that remark alone.

And do you accept that the word “life” is non-literal in that sentence that you quoted for me above? I directly answered your point about John 6:52, but you did not reply.
